Our March Champion at Work Spotlight is Stephanie Brewer, LMSW, Director of Admissions!
Stephanie has been in the mental health field for 10 years and on our team for two years, being the driving force for our Admissions department. Stephanie stated that her favorite part of working in mental health is being able to walk alongside people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives and helping them realize that those moments do not define their future.
She shared that at one point in her own life, she experienced a very low place mentally after losing her best friend at a young age to struggles with substance abuse and mental health. Through resilience, she overcame that period in her life, gaining a deeper sense of empathy and perspective that she utilizes when working with others.
Thank you, Stephanie, for being a beacon of hope for every person who comes through our doors. We appreciate you! 💙
