I’m going to say this bluntly just because you can buy peptides online doesn’t mean you should.

I see way too many people ordering random powder vials off the internet, mixing them themselves with zero guidance for reconstitution, and labels that literally say “not for human consumption.”

That’s not biohacking that’s gambling with your health.

Here’s why sourcing is everything:

A beautiful young woman came to see me for help with her lips.

When she was 18 years old (5 years ago), she trusted someone offering lip injections who was only in town temporarily.

She didn’t know what questions to ask.
She trusted someone she believed was a professional.

Unfortunately, she was taken advantage of.

What was injected into her lips was silicone.

Over time, she developed serious complications:

• Hard nodules and lumps
• Severe product migration
• Lip deformity

Even more concerning, when the silicone has infiltrated into the muscle tissue of the lips, making the situation far more complex. Another devastating reality…
These complications don’t always show up right away.

Silicone reactions can develop years later, long after the injection.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, silicone cannot be dissolved.
There is no enzyme that can reverse it.

The only option is surgical removal, where a plastic surgeon must physically excise the affected tissue.

And unfortunately…
there is no going back to the original lips once that tissue is removed.

This is by far the worst case I have ever seen.

I referred her to a board-certified plastic surgeon, and I truly hope she can get relief and healing.

My heart breaks for patients who were simply young and trusting.

Please protect yourself when considering cosmetic injections:

• Ask exactly what product is being used
• Make sure it is FDA-approved
• Ask to see the box and syringe
• Write down the lot number and manufacturer information for your records

PRF Microneedling vs. PDGF, Let’s Clear This Up 💉✨

Not all collagen stimulation is created equal.

PRF uses your own blood to stimulate regeneration. It’s 100% natural and releases growth factors slowly over time. Beautiful for improving skin quality, under-eyes, and for patients who want an all-natural option.

PDGF is different.
It’s a purified, lab-derived growth factor that directly signals your cells to repair and build collagen. More precise. More controlled. Often faster visible improvement.

Here’s what most people don’t understand:

PRF only works as well as your biology allows.

Because it’s made from your own blood, your age, hormones, inflammation levels, nutrition, and overall health all impact the strength of your growth factors.

A healthy 30-year-old does not produce the same quality PRF as a stressed, inflamed, nutrient-depleted 50-year-old.

I’ve realized that many of my patients may not know that I’ve officially moved locations 🤍

I haven’t been very active on social media lately and that’s been intentional. These past months have been incredibly busy in the best way. I’ve been fully immersed in my patients, giving each of you my undivided attention and care. When you’re in my chair, you deserve presence, precision, and focus. That will always come first.

Social media doesn’t validate real success.
If I’m quiet online, it’s because I’m very busy working.
With that being said, I wanted to finally give you a little sneak peek of my beautiful new space ✨

This move has been such a blessing. The love, support, referrals, and trust you continue to show me means more than I can put into words. Seeing you walk into this new space and immediately feel the love and at home confirms I made the right decision.
