Hello everyone,

We need your support for an incredible woman who is facing the most challenging battle of her life. Her life has taken an unexpected turn as she grapples with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), a debilitating condition that has left her breathless and struggling for every precious breath. In addition to her health challenges, her husband is a disabled veteran who has stood by her side through thick and thin. Josie has been fighting COPD for several years now, but her condition has progressively worsened, leaving her with severely compromised lung function. She was deemed a candidate for a double lung transplant with the nearest transplant center being located in San Antonio, Texas. As of today she is a successful recipient which offers her the best chance at a healthier life.
