A Message to Our Equine Community Regarding EHV-1
My heart goes out to every horse owner, trainer, and barn staff member affected by the current Equine Herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) outbreak. For those who have suffered the devastating loss of a beloved horse, please know my thoughts and deepest condolences are with you during this incredibly painful time.
Protecting our clients and the broader community is my top priority.
Effective immediately, I will be suspending all in-person training, clinics, and energywork sessions. We are activating our zero-contact protocol and shifting all services to a virtual-only model for the foreseeable future.
This ensures your animals get the essential energetic and communication support they need without any risk of transmission. Distance work is just as powerful!
I will continue to monitor the situation closely and will re-evaluate resuming in-person sessions in a few weeks. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the health and safety of our herds.

Okay KY or willing to travel photography friends.

I am looking to add some professional business pictures to my website. This would include myself and the horses.

I am trying to do it as a barter system and would trade horse services, energy healing, even childcare services.

There also would be a spot on my website where I would link it to yours to promote your skills as well.

If you are interested or know someone who would be, I would love to connect!

STOP THE PRESSES! BREAKING NEWS: They Still Need Boundaries
Live from the barn, we interrupt your regularly scheduled scrolling for a critical update: Your horse still needs boundaries.
You were hoping that after all the treats and cuddles, they'd just know. But leading a 1,200 lb animal requires clear communication, not just wishful thinking. The more you know!

Raven was pushing me to see who was truly leading the dance today. She's the dominant mare in the pasture, and she brought that energy into the round pen—charging, invading my space, and testing every line I drew.

It's crucial in these moments to stand my ground and show her that I am the consistent, safe, and firm leader.

Boundaries are huge for establishing a safe, trusting relationship.

We worked through the resistance (even the kick attempt!) to find agreement. We closed out with a deeply loving understanding.

When you hold your boundary, you create a container of safety, and that's when a horse truly trusts you.

A quiet admission: I slipped. Recently, I found myself defaulting back to my old patterns—the need to perform and the constant feeling of pressure—and losing all the presence in the process. Someone gently pointed it out, and it hit me hard.
It’s a crucial reminder that the work we teach is the work we must constantly practice. Rewild with Amanda isn't just theory; it's a daily commitment to slowing down, regulating the nervous system, and choosing joy over obligation.
Sometimes, the most freeing moments are the ones that remind us we're human and that we need community to call us back to center. Thank you for the necessary nudge. ❤️

From Fear to Flow: Gemma’s Story of Trust
This is Gemma. And this photo—of myself riding her—is a testament to what happens when you prioritize presence over pressure.
Gemma came to me with a tough label: a previous trainer refused to work with her, stating she was simply "too dangerous." She wasn't dangerous; she was a horse living in a ball of fear, constantly waiting for the next bad thing to happen.
After just a few sessions applying the Rewild Method, we achieved this profound shift. Gemma is still cautious, yes, but her genuine calmness is shining through. We didn't fight her fear; we gave her the tools to regulate her nervous system and finally feel safe enough to trust.
Watching her gain confidence and trade fear for connection has been an absolute honor. This is why I do this work—to prove that every horse deserves the space to heal and find a willing, confident partner.
If you have a horse who has been labeled "difficult," maybe it's time to try a different language.
Trust Your Wild. Find Your Flow.
