A little late to post but a big HUGE congratulations to our winners: 1st place , 2nd place , and 3rd place .

We appreciate you all joining us and supporting Glide and all of our favorite local businesses! Your support of women owned, small businesses in Tequesta is incredible.

We hope to do more events coming up with all of these friends. Look out for our breath and sound workshop with in October and a roof top foam roll and stretch class with date TBD in the Fall!

Business spotlight:

On any given night out with friends, I’m pretty sure at least 75% of my friends are wearing something from Sea Lustre.

Brooke has impeccable taste when it comes to clothing, jewelry, accessories, home furnishings and so much more.

I buy all of my teacher gifts there and all of my friend gifts there. If you are looking for something unique and a locally owned shop, you need to shop here.

Business spotlight:

When you walk into the Wine Proxy, it looks and feels like you are walking into Tish and Brian’s kitchen. It is the most welcoming wine experience you will ever have!

Our group of girlfriends get together once a month for our wine tasting. We share laughs, tears, and advice. We vent, share book recommendations and travel tips. It is always a highlight of my week when we have our wine night.

One of the things we are most proud of at Glide is the community we have built! Tish and Brian have 100% done the same. There has never been a time I have been to the Wine Proxy without running into clients at Glide, friends and neighbors.

The Wine Proxy offers a monthly wine tasting membership as well as a ton of events from wine school, to wine and pizza nights, to coffee and wine pairings. You can also pop in and get great advice on a bottle to buy at any price point. Follow them for details on special events.

Our 10 year anniversary giveaway includes a wine tasting for 2 with a cheese and charcuterie board. Just a little more than a week left to enter!

Business spotlight:

Dr. Bella, owner of Agape Healing Arts along with her husband Dr. Keith has been a client and a friend of mine for the last 6 years. Their mission is to provide the highest quality in preventative medicine, pain relief, and health optimization at Agape.

Dr. Bella’s presence is one of calm, intention, and the utmost caring. She is passionate about the work she does and inspiring in her ways to heal.

Countless of our clients rely on care from Dr. Bella and Dr. Keith for women’s health services, acupuncture, cupping, holistic healing for lime disease and much more.

Last March we hosted our first workshop collaboration with Dr. Bella and Marta with sound bath and acupuncture.

We are proud to announce our next workshop collaboration with Dr. Bella on Thursday, October 16. This workshop we will be a breath and sound healing workshop. More details to follow.

Business spotlight:

I first met Amy Angelo at a VOT green market where she was promoting Oceana Coffee and a local business group called Think Local. She asked if I had a business in Tequesta and I told her I was opening a Pilates studio soon.

I think that was the first time I had actually said it out loud and wow did it set things in motion. Her reply was, I love Pilates, let me know when you open, I’ll be a client.

Fast forward 10 years and Amy has become one of my dearest friends, someone I turn to for advice, someone I have loved watching her kids grow from having Grace in my little ballet class to now grown into a beautiful human.

I had my baby shower for Elle at Oceana Coffee, spent my first Mother’s Day brunch there and not sure I would make it to work most days without their coffee. The running joke at Glide is how hard the class is each day, depending on how much coffee I have had to drink 😜

If you haven’t tried Oceana Coffee, you need to and you will be hooked. Scotty, Amy and Amy run their business with passion, great taste, integrity, and a love for great coffee.

Their new location in Lake Park is stunning and I look forward to going back to put on our rooftop stretch and foam roller class in the near future!

We love you guys and are so happy for your continued success! It is well deserved!

This picture was taken 10 years ago today, peering in through the windows to see if they had started the build out for Glide.

A stranger walked by at that moment and said, “Imagine the possibilities”.

I could have never imagined how incredible this journey would be!

I had no idea that I would not only be starting a business but building a community.

I had no idea that so many of these clients would become best friends and family.

I had no idea that Katie and I would still be together 10 years later in our work “marriage”.

I had no idea that my kids would be able to grow up here and proudly watch their mom as business owner.

I had no idea that we would have thousands of clients walking through our doors and so many who would stay with us from week 1.

You dream and hope and work as hard as you can, knowing that you can make it work. In a blink of an eye it’s 10 years later and my heart is full 🩵💙💚
