Last night’s Wild Feminine Book Club was such a beautiful and honest circle.
We explored the tension so many women carry between doing and being…
how we learned to survive by pushing, controlling, achieving, and holding more than we were ever meant to carry alone.
And how, somewhere along the way, we lost connection to softness, receptivity, and the wisdom of the body.
A powerful reminder emerged…
the feminine is not weakness.
Receptivity is power.
Feeling is power.
Listening to the body is power.
We spoke about how women are rarely taught to trust their cycles or honor their bodies.
Instead, we are taught to suppress, override, and disconnect.
And how important it is that we begin to change that…
for ourselves, and for our daughters.
We also reflected on relationships
how differently the masculine and feminine process emotion
and how healing begins when we stop trying to change others
and return to ourselves.
Our ovarian breathing meditation brought everything deeper into the body.
Some women felt openness and aliveness.
Others felt stillness, emptiness, or protection.
There was no right or wrong
only an invitation to listen.
To receive.
To soften.
To trust what the body is saying.
The truth is
many of us are learning to come out of survival
and back into embodiment.
To reclaim the feminine
after years of over-identifying with doing.
To remember that self-honor is not selfish
it is necessary.
And that what feels disconnected can be restored.
What feels barren can bloom again.
Thank you to every woman who came, shared, and held space.
These circles matter.
Being witnessed matters.
And returning to the feminine, together, is how we heal.
