Meet Mick Kimbrough, our Clinical Director! Mick graduated from Indiana University of Indianapolis’ Herron School of Art + Design (formerly IUPUI) with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy in 2020. They are dually licensed as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and as a registered art therapist (ATR). Mick has clinical experience with treating substance use disorder, personality disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders. They have worked in both outpatient and crisis settings prior to working for Hickory Treatment Center.
They have a passion for helping others who are wanting to achieve sobriety, and they work to support folks in improving their daily functioning whilst experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders. Mick demonstrates empathy and care for the community in hopes of making a positive impact through empowering others.
