Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Regional Utility Workshop this week! It's thanks to the amazing partnerships of Duke Energy, Indiana American Water and CenterPoint Energy.

We worked to bridge the gaps between government officials, developers, lenders and other industry experts during an informational session and networking lunch at the Vigo County History Center.

"Thanks to Thrive's initiatives and everyone in this room for their investments in our community," David Baker with Indiana American Water said at the event.

We're grateful for the wealth of knowledge from our panelists — Jennifer Isbell-Scott with CenterPoint Energy, Rick Burger and Matt Koenig with Duke Energy and David Baker with Indiana American Water.

We held a ribbon cutting for the completion of the Dimmick Avenue Project under the Homes for the Future Program today!

These seven new stick-built single-family homes by TightLines Developing, LLC, are in an established neighborhood on Terre Haute's east side near schools, parks, churches and businesses. They range from 1,300 to 1,500 square feet homes featuring three bedrooms and two to three full bathrooms.

This project wouldn't have been possible without city and county ARPA funding, the City of Terre Haute, Vigo County Commissioners, the Wabash River Regional Development Authority and the city and county councils.

Both sessions are required to earn the certification.

Thrive and Homes for the Future celebrated the completion of Clay Court, a new subdivision in Staunton featuring single-family homes.

Thank you to A and J Developers for bringing these beautiful half-acre homesites to life! The 10 three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes feature open-concept designs and two-car attached garages. The development is designed to support families relocating to the region, seniors seeking accessibility, and residents seeking quality housing in a rural setting.

“We’d like to thank all of the people at Thrive who believed in us and allowed us to do this project," said Jon Hollaway with A and J Developers.

The project was made possible through READI 1.0 funding, investments from the Wabash River Regional Development Authority and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, with support from the Clay County Commissioners and Clay County Council.

“Homes for the Future is one of the success stories of the RDA. The goal was to build homes in the region, so thank you for bringing them to Staunton and Clay County," said Chad Jenkins of the RDA.

Our dream has become a reality! We were able to raise money for a new transit vehicle to serve the community through our inaugural golf outing last year. Today, we got to show off our new van at an unveiling at The Copper Bar.

"This is a gamechanger for us. It gives us a new opportunity to serve folks who didn't previously have that option," said Ryan Keller, Thrive CEO. "We can't say thank you enough."

We appreciate the Thrive Foundation board and everyone who supported our golf outing last year.

We'll be hosting our next golf outing to raise money to further our mission on June 12 at Rea Park Golf Course! Sign up or show support now at https://buff.ly/PaMN9mw.
