Is There A Plan To Using Plan B?

Emergency contraception like Plan B is meant for emergency use, not as regular birth control. Emergency contraception is intended to prevent pregnancy, while the abortion pill is used to end an existing pregnancy.

What You Need To Know:

• Plan B is most effective when taken as soon as possible, up to 72 hours after unprotected s*x
• IT can be taken up to 5 days after
• Emergency contraception is not 100% effective and shouldn’t be used as a primary method of birth control
