On Tuesday, the lotus staff along with members of the advisory board were able to prepare and serve a thanksgiving meal to all of our shelter guests. Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered to make this day possible!

The Lotus Center is a low barrier emergency shelter located in Terre Haute, IN. We shelter 52 men, women, and families that are experiencing homelessness. This holiday season, we are raising money in order to provide a small gift to each individuals staying at the shelter. Every $20 donated will provide a blanket, a hat and glove set, new socks and other holiday goodies.

Donations can be made online to our Signup.com page. Cash donations, checks, and gift cards can be brought to Younity Village at 1460 Spruce st. Terre Haute

All other donations can be dropped off at the Lotus Center at 2720 Elm st. Terre Haute

Did you know that the Lotus Center does an average of over 60 loads of laundry a week? We depend on our community's support to provide these much needed services and supplies to the guests staying in our shelter including items like laundry soap!

Please consider donating these much needed items. Donations can be dropped off at the Lotus Center at 2720 Elm st. in Terre Haute or contact our shelter with questions at 812-460-5233.

Mental Health America West Central Indiana is sponsoring a Substance Free Alternative Event during the Free Family Film Festival at the Ritz Theater in Rockville on Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00 am playing Despicable Me 4 and Wednesday, July 2 at 10:00am playing Harold and the Purple Crayon. This includes Free Entry, popcorn and a soda.
