Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, connection, and community and your support makes that possible.

The Lotus Center is a low-barrier emergency shelter shelter serving men, women, and families. This season we are raising funds to provide a Thanksgiving meal for each guest. Every $10 donation provides a meal and a moment of comfort.

This includes Free Entry, popcorn and a soda.

A group of researchers at Indiana State University are attempting to better understand the perception of family members and close friends who have lost loved ones due to drug related deaths. We believe that this research will provide valuable insight into “red flags” of drug use by family members, and this information could help prevent further loss. Please note that participation in this study runs the risk of psychological distress and/or strain. Participants will be asked to conduct an interview either in person or via zoom.
