Wednesday was a ✨ Dream Come True ✨ at Happiness Bag!

We celebrated our long-awaited grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony, and it truly felt like walking into a dream made real. This expansion built through a $2.5 million fundraising campaign, ARPA grants, and years of hard work, dedication, and unwavering community support, is finally open and it was filled with nothing but love, joy, and gratitude from wall to wall (all 1,200 square inches of heart-filled space ❤️)

Our new spaces will open doors, literally and figuratively, including:

• 🍿 A concessions stand
• 🧩 A multipurpose community space for events, gatherings, and endless memories (availible to the public for rental) 😉
• 💻 A computer lab to foster learning and independence
• 🌈 A sensory room designed for comfort and regulation
• 🍽️ Life skills classrooms, complete with a full kitchen and laundry area to support everyday growth and confidence

None of this would have been possible without YOU, our donors, supporters, partners, and cheerleaders. From the first vision to today’s celebration, you stood beside us 💛 We are endlessly thankful. We are deeply grateful. And we cannot wait to watch this new chapter unfold.

Here’s to dreams realized, doors opened, and a future filled with possibility at Happiness Bag! 🎉✨
