Laura Livingston,
Thank you for your years of creation. For your years of toil and sacrifice. For your years of staying at work until 9pm just to make a simulation better. Thank you for creating a truly interprofessional environment where everybody felt welcome to screw up, learn how to talk to each other, learn how do their roles in healthcare.
Thank you for teaching faculty and educators how simulation can be more than just a way to check off their skills, but instead a hotbed for innovation and creative learning.
Thank you for helping the RHIC become the first accredited simulation center in the state of Indiana....and still the best. Thank you for developing the early Human Simulation Program we created. Thank you for providing ongoing guidance to our quirky and interesting SPs.
Thank you for helping create the first successful sepsis program in the region way back in the day. For the hours you put into chart reviews and spreadsheets. Thank you for coming to Union Hospital and becoming an exceptional ICU nurse. Thank you for simply being a great nurse.
Thank you for all the time you spent away from Cade, Cole, Noah, and Larry....working on weekends and evenings when you often didn't have to, but did because of your commitment to your job and teaching young people what you know.
Thank you for everything you have done to make the RHIC the best simulation program in the country.
Thank you. From the entire organization, the staff, the Board of Directors, the faculty and educators, the SPs, the countless students that have passed through our doors, and the patients and their families who's lives that you have impacted. Quite simply, THANK YOU. We wish you joy, happiness, health, and success in anything and everything you do in the future. Thank you.
