🌈 Mental Health Check-In 🌈

It’s okay not to be okay — and it’s even more okay to ask for help when you need it. 💛

Take a moment to pause and check in with yourself using the chart below.

If you’re feeling 💚 “starting to struggle” or anything below that, please know you don’t have to navigate it alone. Reaching out to a licensed therapist can make a real difference. Sometimes just talking about what’s weighing on you can bring relief, clarity, and the first step toward healing. 💬💗

✨ Your feelings are valid.
✨ Support is available.
✨ You matter exactly as you are.

If you’re ready to connect or just need to explore your options, reach out to Prism Counseling Services. We’re here to help you move from surviving to thriving. 🌻

💛 Today is World Su***de Prevention Day ❤️

To those who are struggling, grieving, supporting, or simply surviving—this day is for you.
You are not alone. Your story matters. Your life matters.

✨ If you’ve lost someone to su***de

✨ If you’re struggling with thoughts of giving up
✨ If you’re holding on one day at a time

—please know that reaching out for help is a brave and powerful step.

As a licensed counselor, I offer a safe, affirming space to talk about what feels unbearable. Healing and hope are possible, even when it doesn’t feel that way right now.

💬 I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.

🌱 Healing from trauma isn’t a straight line 🌱

This graphic captures what so many of us experience: progress, setbacks, moments of strength, and days where it feels impossible to get out of bed. Healing is not about reaching a perfect “end point.” It’s about continuing the journey, even when it’s messy.

✨ Some days you may feel like you’re finally free.
✨ Other days may bring setbacks that leave you questioning if you’ll ever heal.
✨ Both are part of the process—and both are valid.

If you’re struggling, please know you are not alone. Healing takes time, compassion, and support. Relapse does not erase your progress—it’s simply another part of the journey. 💜

Setting boundaries during the holidays is perfectly acceptable and important for your well-being. While family and friends often mean well, their actions can sometimes feel intrusive. Remember, it’s okay to prioritize yourself and establish healthy boundaries.

Men’s mental health is a critical issue that often goes unspoken, but it affects families, workplaces, and communities every day. Many men face stigma around mental health, leading them to struggle in silence. Addressing men’s mental health is essential for building stronger support networks, promoting emotional well-being, and preventing mental health crises. Let’s break the stigma together by encouraging open conversations, providing support, and reminding the men in our lives that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Now booking mental health clients! I accept BCBSAL, Aetna, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health, and Tricare insurance. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please email me at amanda@prismcounseling.net.
