🇺🇸 Vet to Vet Luncheon – Honoring Service, Sharing Stories 🇺🇸

Every third Friday at 11:00 AM, something very special happens in our Club Room at Westminster Village. Veterans gather shoulder to shoulder — not in uniform this time, but in friendship — to share lunch, laughter, and the kind of stories only those who have served truly understand.

Our incredible Westminster Village Culinary Team prepares a delicious lunch, and our generous partners at Care Hospice sweeten the afternoon by sponsoring dessert. 🍰

But what makes this gathering truly meaningful isn’t just the food — it’s the camaraderie. It’s the quiet nod of understanding. The shared memories. The pride. The connection.

Residents, team members, and veterans from the greater community are always welcome to join us. If you or someone you love has served, we would be honored to have you at the table.

💘🍸 Cupid’s Cocktail Hour was a hit! 🍸💘

Love was in the air — along with laughter, friendly competition, and some delicious cocktails! Our Cupid’s Cocktail Hour featured interactive trivia hosted by our wonderful Community Life Assistant, Lidia Gabbard, and she absolutely brought the fun.

Residents tested their knowledge, learned new fun facts, and enjoyed a little spirited competition (in more ways than one 😉). Events like this are such a great reminder that learning never stops — and neither does the fun!

We are so proud of our residents who continue to grow, stay curious, and embrace every opportunity to connect. Add in great food, festive drinks, and wonderful company, and you’ve got a pretty perfect afternoon. 💕

Love was in the air at our February Birthday Bash!

We celebrated all of our February babies in the sweetest way—with a delicious Valentine’s Day–themed cake from Baesler's Market that looked beautiful and tasted even better! Nothing says “Happy Birthday” like chocolate, frosting, and a room full of friends singing your praises!

We also want to give a huge shoutout to Brittany from Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the Wabash Valley for treating us to no-sugar-added ice cream and all the fun toppings! Your generosity helps make our celebrations inclusive and extra special, and we truly appreciate all that you do for our community.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful February residents — you make our hearts full all year long! 💝🎂

We spent the day exploring the breathtaking “THE LUME Indianapolis Featuring Indigenous Art: Land, Water, Sky” exhibit at Newfields — and wow.

This immersive experience brings to life the powerful work of Aboriginal Australian artists, surrounding you in floor-to-ceiling light, color, and story. Instead of simply viewing art on a wall, we walked through it — standing inside ancient stories of land, water, and sky that have been told for tens of thousands of years.

What made this trip so unique was the way it engaged all of us — not just visually, but emotionally. The kids were mesmerized by the moving projections and music, and we had such meaningful conversations about culture, connection to nature, and how art can preserve history. It truly felt like stepping into another world without leaving Indianapolis.

If you’re looking for something engaging, educational, and completely different from your typical museum visit, this is it.

We are proud to recognize Jason Cutliff as our January 2026 Hospitality Hero! Jason is someone we can always count on. He consistently steps up to support our maintenance team, even taking on overtime to help them reach their goals — and he does it willingly and with a smile. Team members like Jason are truly hard to come by. His positive attitude is contagious, and he always has a funny joke or lighthearted comment ready to brighten someone’s day. He not only gets the job done, but he lifts the entire team while doing it. We are so grateful to have Jason as part of the WV team and thankful he is such an important part of our community. Thank you, Jason, for all that you do!

What a slam dunk of a night for Westminster Village! 🏀🎉

Last night, our team and residents had the incredible opportunity to attend the Indiana State Sycamores men’s basketball game at the legendary Hulman Center — and the energy was electric! From the roar of the crowd to the thrill of every three-pointer, it was a night full of smiles, high-fives, and Sycamore pride.

A HUGE thank you to Billy Hendrix from Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park for generously providing the tickets and making this experience possible. Your kindness gave our residents and team a memorable morale day filled with community spirit and basketball excitement.

There’s something special about cheering together, sharing popcorn, and celebrating every big play. Moments like these remind us how strong and connected our Westminster Village family truly is. 💙

This informative session will focus on practical, everyday strategies to support your physical, emotional, and environmental well-being right from the comfort of your home. Learn simple ways to create safer living spaces, build healthy routines, prevent illness and injury, and access helpful community resources that promote independence and overall wellness.
