🎅✨ A Day Full of Merry Moments with Santa! ✨🎄

Our community was filled with music, laughter, and pure holiday joy during our Photos with Santa event! From the cozy hot cocoa bar, cookie decorating and beautiful holiday décor to the smiles that lit up the room, it was truly a day to remember.

We loved welcoming the kiddos of our team members along with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of our residents. Seeing generations come together—sharing giggles, Christmas wishes, and a little cocoa—was the very definition of the season’s spirit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special. These are the moments that make our community feel like home. ❤️🎄

Independent Living Van Trip: Let There Be Lights!

Our Independent Living residents bundled up and climbed aboard the van for a festive evening of holiday magic! We toured Deming Park to enjoy the beautiful light display, then cruised through several charming neighborhoods around Terre Haute, taking in twinkling lights, creative decorations, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

With glowing displays outside and warm laughter inside the bus, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this joyful night of lights, smiles, and community spirit—these are the moments that make Westminster Village feel like home. 🎄✨

🎉🎂 December Birthday Party! 🎂🎉

What a sweet way to wrap up the year! Our December birthday party was a huge success, with over 80 residents coming together to celebrate another wonderful year of life here at Westminster Village. The room was full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of birthday cheer.

A very special shoutout goes to Baesler's Market for creating a beautiful custom cake complete with every December birthday resident’s name on it. It was truly a showstopper and almost too pretty to cut (almost 😉).

We’re also grateful to Brittany from Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the Wabash Valley who thoughtfully brought no-sugar-added ice cream options and toppings, making sure everyone could enjoy a delicious treat their way.

And just like that… that’s a wrap on our 2025 birthday celebrations! We’ve loved honoring our residents month after month, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for our Westminster Village family.

Tonight, our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a truly magical evening at Deming Park, taking in the beautiful Christmas light displays that light up the heart of Terre Haute each holiday season.

With holiday music playing through the speakers, the glow of twinkling lights all around, and hot cocoa and cookies in hand, our residents were wrapped in warmth, joy, and plenty of Christmas cheer. Smiles and laughter filled the evening, reminding us just how meaningful these simple moments can be.

🎄 Westminster Village Holiday Performance! 🎶

This afteenoon, our very own Westminster Singers filled the Village with the magic of the season. With every note, every harmony, and every smile, they reminded us just how special this community truly is.

A heartfelt thank you to Steve Newman, our dedicated choir director who has led, inspired, and uplifted our singers for so many years. His commitment and passion shine through every performance, and we are so grateful for the joy he brings to Westminster Village.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Sherry Dailey for her heartfelt narration, which added such warmth and storytelling to the performance.

And of course, a very special thank you to Sylvia Hansen for her beautiful accompaniment on the piano. Her music carries the choir and enriches every moment.

A Huge Thank You to Our Maintenance Team!

As we continue navigating this very snowy, cold, and windy season, we want to take a moment to express just how grateful we are for our incredible Maintenance Department and their outstanding director, Jon McCloskey.

From early mornings spent clearing sidewalks to long hours keeping our parking lots safe and our outdoor areas accessible, their dedication truly keeps Westminster Village moving—literally! Their commitment, even in the toughest winter conditions, ensures that our community remains safe, welcoming, and comfortable for residents, staff, and families alike.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Human Resources team, who stepped in with warm coffees for our maintenance crew today! A small gesture to help fuel their big efforts in this bitter weather. It’s moments like these that show what community really means.
