When Korbin was just 2½, his parents noticed delays in his speech. His mom’s gut told her something more was going on.

Their pediatrician recommended speech therapy — but it wasn’t covered by insurance. The cost? $400 a week. For many families, that would have meant waiting. No therapy. No diagnosis. No answers.

But thanks to donors to Union Health Foundation’s Pediatric Therapy Fund, Korbin didn’t have to wait. He started therapy immediately with only a $10 copay.

Within just a few months, his team helped secure an early autism diagnosis — something his mom calls “life-changing.”
