1. What made you join CrossFit?
“Competitiveness.”

2. What was the biggest challenge for you in the beginning?
“Checking my ego at the door.”

3. What kept you coming back on the tough days?
“I knew if I wanted to be better I had to keep coming, even on bad days or workouts I didn’t even like… but I would be sure to still complain about them.”

4. What are you most proud of so far?
“When I learned how to do double unders. I never worked so hard on a skill and always beating Jeremy.”

5. How has your mindset around fitness or your body changed?
“Over time I’ve learned to listen to my body and rest.”

6. What would you tell someone who’s intimidated to start?
“Anyone can do CrossFit. You just adjust to what works best for you. Then you can beat Jeremy too!!!!”

7. A fun fact you want people to know about you.
“People say I’m not approachable, but really I’m a big teddy bear.”

1. What made you join CrossFit?
“I joined CrossFit because I was tired of my friends telling me to, lol.”

2. What was the biggest challenge for you in the beginning?
“My biggest challenge at first was myself.”

3. What kept you coming back on the tough days?
“The comfort I feel every time I walk through the doors. For the hour or two I am at Common Ground, the outside world doesn’t exist!”

4. What are you most proud of so far?
“I am most proud that I show up for ME today and the confidence it gives me in all areas of my life.”

5. How has your mindset around fitness or your body changed?
“My mindset has completely changed when it comes to how I view my body, and I’ve learned the importance of movement.”

6. What would you tell someone who’s intimidated to start?
“I too was intimidated for about 5 years. I would drive by and see CrossFitters outside pulling and pushing things and think to myself, ‘you could never Christina’! I WAS WRONG! So, DO IT. Get your ASS here!!”

7. A fun fact you want people to know about you.
“My body thinks it needs a dessert with EVERY meal 🤣”

What almost stopped you from starting and what finally got you through the door?

Realizing that taking an hour to move your body isn’t time away from your family, it’s an investment in more healthy years with them. Worth it every time. ❤️
