Our nervous system is designed to protect us.

When the brain senses stress or danger, it activates survival responses: fight, flight, or freeze.

These responses are normal, but when stress stays activated for too long, it can make progress feel difficult.

Understanding how the nervous system works helps us respond to stress with greater awareness and compassion.
