Calming and organizing children with high sensitivity or sensory seeking behaviors
✔ Oral Motor Skill Development
Strengthening lips, cheeks, and tongue
Improving jaw stability
Supporting saliva control
✔ Speech Production
Promoting correct placement for sounds (e.g., /l/, /s/, /t/, /k/)
Enhancing proprioception to help the child feel movements more clearly

MEET OUR THERAPIST! Yadira Acevedo-Fonseca, MOT, OTR/L, is the founder and Lead Occupational Therapist at Fun House Pediatric Therapy Services. With a passion for supporting neurodivergent children and their families, she brings a strengths-based and affirming approach to every session. Yadira specializes in creating playful, meaningful experiences that help children build confidence, independence, and regulation skills in ways that honor who they are. She partners closely with caregivers, schools, and communities to ensure that support extends beyond the therapy room. Guided by creativity, empathy, and a deep belief in each child’s potential, Yadira is committed to making Funhouse Therapy a safe, welcoming space where growth feels fun.
