Progress powered by community. 💙

We’re grateful to Pals Electric for their generous support of our One Community. Under One Roof. Capital Campaign, and for the skilled work they’re doing to complete the electrical installation in our building renovation and expansion.

Their donation and expertise are helping create a space where individuals can Live, Learn, Work, and Play together under one roof.

Thank you, Pals Electric, for helping bring our vision to life.

The Intermittent CILA group recently had an amazing experience at Kitchen Social 2 in Chesterfield! Working hands-on with a professional chef, they prepared a full meal and enjoyed the fruits of their labor together. It was a great opportunity to learn, build confidence, and have a lot of fun. 🤌🍝

If it’s Tuesday night, you’ll find the Intermittent CILA crew at the Effingham Event Center for the Effingham Knights of Columbus BINGO night. 💙

We’re thankful for the support of the Effingham Knights and their generosity toward our One Community. Under One Roof. Capital Campaign. Partnerships like this demonstrate what community is all about: neighbors supporting neighbors and creating more opportunities for the people we serve.

Gifts like theirs help move us closer to a future where our programs, teams, and the individuals we support can come together under one roof.

Thank you, Effingham Knights of Columbus, for investing in our mission and in a stronger community for all.

Another exciting update from our One Community. Under One Roof. Capital Campaign! 💙

We would like to extend a big thank you to Double D Signs, Inc. for creating the beautiful new sign for our renovated location. It’s wonderful to collaborate with local businesses that do such fantastic work! 👏

When we build a sign for you, it’s not pulled off the shelf or ordered out of a catalog. It’s hand-built with care, precision, pride and quality by our very own sign fabricators, right here in our shop! Stop by anytime and we will show you the process. 217-857-1662 or Signs@DoubleDSigns.com

Good things are happening at Community Support Systems 🌟

We’re excited to share concept designs from our partners at Utz and Associates Architects P.C. as we plan for our future space. Every detail is being designed with the people we serve, our staff, and our community in mind.

The vision is coming to life, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone in!

We were pleased to host Jesus Ortega, Illinois State Director for USDA Rural Development, along with Wabash Communications CO-OP administrators and additional members of the USDA Rural Development team, at our Harvester location to see the renovation progress firsthand.

This project is an investment in the future of the people we serve and in the vital services that strengthen our community. We are grateful for the partnerships and support that have made this renovation possible, including the interest-free Rural Economic Development Loan through USDA Rural Development, with sponsorship from Wabash Communications.

It was a great opportunity to share our vision, walk through the space, and talk about how this updated location will enhance opportunities to Live, Learn, Work, and Play for years to come.

We can’t wait to welcome Jesus and the others back once the project is complete to see the finished transformation! 💙
