Robert George Greene, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by his beloved family and his lifelong friend Jim, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 6, 1955, in Cambridge, Robert was the son of the late George Greene and the late Mary (Massa) Greene. He grew up in Tewksbury, where he was educated and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1973. While he had been a resident of Lowell in recent years, much of his life was spent on Shawsheen Street in Tewksbury, a place filled with many memories.

Robert dedicated much of his working life to shipping and receiving. He was employed at Compugraphics, later Agfa, in Wilmington for over 30 years, and later worked at Cabot Corporation in Billerica for 15 years before retiring. He took pride in his work and valued the friendships he made along the way.

A lifelong sports fan, Robert loved watching games and listening to sports on the radio. In his younger years, he played hockey and softball through high school and later participated in the DAV softball league. He was also a certified scuba diver. Over the years, he enjoyed competing in several billiards leagues and spending time playing cribbage with friends.

Above all else, Robert treasured time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Sharing a meal with family and friends was where he was happiest. A fan of The Three Stooges and Charlie Brown, Robert truly was a kid at heart, with a sense of humor and warmth that stayed with him throughout his life.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Nichole Remillard of Lowell, and Alyssa Greene and her companion Ricardo Rosado, also of Lowell. He leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren: Xavier Santana, Lily Mae Dunton, Justin Dunton, Jr., Emma Dunton, Camden Dunton, Xander Gonzalez, and Romeo Rosado. Joseph Arthur Aubut, Jr.

Joseph Arthur Aubut, Jr., lifelong resident of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026 after a prolonged illness. He was 71 years old. Born on May 11, 1954, in Tewksbury, Joey was the beloved son of the late Rita Theresa (Nutter) Aubut, and Joseph Arthur Aubut. He was raised in the community he loved and lived in Tewksbury his entire life, forming deep and lasting connections. Joseph attended St. William’s School for his primary education and went on to graduate from Tewksbury Memorial High School, Class of 1972. During his high school years, he was a proud member of the TMHS football team, wearing jersey #61, and competed as a heavyweight wrestler on the school’s wrestling team.

Joe followed his father, working in the family business where he dedicated 52 years as manager and co-owner of Aubut’s Liquors. During those years, Joe also managed Aubut’s Plaza from 2010 until 2023.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Joe also sponsored and organized the Aubut’s Liquors softball team, assembling a group of players who proudly wore the team jersey and brought home several trophies over the years. Joe loved the players as much as the game and was a familiar and supportive presence at nearly every game. Joe found joy and adventure outdoors, especially snowmobiling and ice fishing in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. He was also an avid racquetball player, spending many early mornings on the courts at Northmeadow Tennis and Racquetball Club. Summers held a special place in his heart—he cherished his annual stays at The Ashworth in Hampton Beach and never missed the Seafood Festival.

Along with close friends, Joe helped organize the Luke Byrne Memorial 5K Road Race, honoring the memory of his dear friend Luke Byrne—another reflection of Joe’s loyalty and devotion to those he loved.

Joe will be remembered for how deeply he was loved by his family and by everyone who had the good fortune to know him. He was tenacious and hardworking, with a kind and generous heart. And, of course, there was the unmistakable hallmark, his uniquely dry sense of humor and the quiet joy he took in making people laugh.

Joe is survived by his sister, Debra Aubut of Atkinson, New Hampshire, several beloved cousins, and members of his extended family, including lifelong friends, Al and Katie Donovan.

The family also wishes to express their gratitude to his caregiver of the last few years, Amanda Forrest.

SANDI WHITE 1964-2026

Sandi E White, 61, current resident of Lawrence, MA, raised in Tewksbury, and long-time resident of Andover, has sadly passed away peacefully in her bed, on Saturday January 17th, 2026. Sandi was born in Wi******er, MA, on Wednesday June 10th, 1964. A daughter of the late Andrew White and Betty (White) Smith. Stepdaughter to the late and beloved James “Smitty” Smith, her “brown-eyed father”, who she loved so dearly. Sandi is survived by her two loving sons, Stephen Corbin Jr, of Methuen, Richard Corbin and his wife Melissa Corbin, of Hudson, Nh; Four amazing grandchildren, Stephen, Jaxon, Logan, and Kenzie Corbin; Two wonderful sisters, Debbie (White) Gregory, of Deltona, Fl, Cheryl (White) Angelis, of Salem, Nh; Two beautiful nieces, Jessica Schmal, of Florida, Kristin Barbieri, of Denver, Co; Two precious nephews, Cole Angelis, of Salem, Nh, Joseph Dean, of Florida; Her one true love, Stephen Corbin Sr., of Hudson, Nh; hundreds of friends and coworkers, especially Christine Schmal, who helped her tremendously, as she recovered from health complications that began a few years back. She was preceded in death by her two lifelong friends, Dorothy “Dee” Schmal, and Sharon Miller. She loved their children like her own.

Sandi had an illustrious career at the IRS in Andover, MA, while also maintaining various waitressing jobs including the Horseshoe Café in North Reading and the 99’s in Andover where she loved to make new friends as she worked. At the IRS, she excelled in multiple positions throughout her 30 years of service. She recently retired and was excited to spend more time working in her garden and enjoying quality time with her grandchildren. Post retirement, she continued helping others, working as a home healthcare aide to Dennis Boehne, and most recently at Market Basket in Tewksbury.

Sandi also very much cared for and helped raise each one of her 4 grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Gigi” (never Grandma). Teaching them to whistle through an acorn shell, tie their shoes, ride their bikes, do puzzles, and swim like a fish, in her beautiful pool.

As a young single mother, Sandi overcame countless struggles and life challenges always prioritizing the health and happiness of her two sons over her own wants and needs. She taught them the value of hard work, and to be kind, generous and respectful. Her sacrifices cannot be overstated and will never be forgotten. She was known to say, "work hard and play smart." She always maintained two, if not three jobs, at a time, to provide for her sons, who she loved and cherished with every beat of her heart from the day they were born. She never took anything for granted.

Sandi fought through life's twists and turns, uphill the whole way, never straying or backing away from a fight, always striving to do what's right. Sandi always accomplished everything she set her mind to. Quitting was never an option and failure was not acceptable. She was the hardest working individual, anyone ever met.

Against all odds, Sandi was able to purchase her beloved home in Andover before eventually finding her dream home in Lawrence, in 2007. A big, beautiful house with an amazing backyard where she would live for the next 20 years. She loved her garden and always had the most beautiful and vibrant flowers. Her yard was her sanctuary. Here she had multiple rose gardens, lilies, bleeding hearts, tulips, morning glories, and so many more.

Having one of the rarer blood-types motivated Sandi to become an avid blood donor. Donating as much as the Red Cross would allow a person to give and undoubtedly saving many lives. She was filled with love and decency. Always willing to help anyone, anyway she could.

Sandi will be remembered for her unforgettable personality. Truly one of a kind. She had many friends, loved to socialize, and could strike up a conversation with anybody. Whether it was camping with her children, family, and friends, simply sitting by the fire and making S’mores, decorating her Christmas tree (probably a Blue Spruce), setting up her train set (she loved Christmas), fishing with her grandson, pulling her granddaughter in the wagon to the neighborhood store, going to the beach to fly a kite, visiting lighthouses all over New England, vacations to Canada, trekking cross-country in a motor-home, taking her grandkids to the zoo or aquarium. She was always having fun, smiling, and intent on creating lasting memories. Memories that her sons and grandchildren will love and cherish forever.

Sandi will be so deeply and dearly missed by all that knew her. A void that can never be filled. A sense of humor that can never be duplicated. A friendship that could never be replaced. A proud mother and grandmother. A beautiful, kind, loving soul. She wore her heart on her sleeve. Never afraid to tell you where to go or how to get there.

Tough as nails, yet sweet as pie,
a diamond in the rough, a star in the sky.
Roses are red, violets are blue,
We are not looking forward, to life without you.
Gone to soon, without a reason,
Couldn't wait, til flower season.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF SANDI "GIGI" WHITE. May you rest in peace for all eternity. God Bless!!! Can't wait to see you on the other side. Love always, your sons, “Child” and “Ricky Racer”

James was educated at Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1946, and was a member of the first graduating class at Merrimack College in 1951. He is also survived by his three children, Todd Johnson (and wife Andree of Methuen, MA), Amy Perreault (and husband Steve of Plaistow, NH), and Lynne Hajjar (of Burlington, MA). He also was the proud grandfather of Monica Morancy (and husband Brian), Adam Johnson (and wife Juliana), Nick and Maiya Perreault, and two great grandchildren.

John especially loved being Captain of his pontoon boat (with his dogs as first mates) and taking family on cruises while giving boat driving lessons to his grandkids. When back on land he would take them on fun adventures on the ATV through the beautiful woods of Maine to help them build an appreciation of birds, wildlife and nature. He was a quiet and gentle man who, above all else, adored the time he spent with his family. Later in retirement John and his wife escaped the cold New England winters and traveled to sunny Cape San Blas Florida. John and Connie truly enjoyed nature and loved to explore the wildlife during their travels. Their mutual love of dogs produced many happy experiences and memories.
