Erin had the opportunity to attend A Seat at the Table tonight hosted by the East Texas Food Bank, and it truly reminded me how important this organization is for our communities!

The East Texas Food Bank serves over 200 partner agencies across 26 counties and helps provide meals to children, families, and seniors right here in East Texas who may not know where their next meal is coming from. Their mission is simple but powerful: to fight hunger and feed hope across our region. 

One thing that really stood out to Erin tonight was learning that just $69 can feed one senior for an entire year through their senior nutrition programs. That’s incredible! Many seniors in our area rely on these monthly food boxes to stay healthy and independent. 

Organizations like the East Texas Food Bank make such a real difference in the lives of our neighbors every single day. If you’ve ever thought about giving, volunteering, or getting involved, I highly encourage you to learn more about what they’re doing.

So thankful for groups like this that continue showing up for our community!

We’re proud to say we brought home second place at the Texarkana Area Veterans Council’s 27th Annual Veteran’s Benefit Chili Cook-Off!

It was an incredible day filled with great competition, good food, and even better company. We had so much fun cooking and being part of such a meaningful event!!
