I’ve started to make this post a couple of times and backed out because I don’t want to offend anyone. But I feel this needs to be said. First we appreciate all of our customers very much, and the majority of our customers bring us good clean deer, but we have had a high number of bad filthy and dirty deer this year. We totally expect every deer that comes to us to have some hair maybe a leaf or two or a piece of grass now and then. We know in the field that happens. We have it set in our prices to spend a little time cleaning that up and we take pride in that. So if your one of our customers, who take care of your deer in the right way, this is not for you. But if your the ones who take no pride or care of what you put in a ice chest, please stop doing this . I’ve seen some things the last few days that I can’t believe a sober person would put in a ice chest with meat you intend to eat . Some of it looks like it has been drug across the cats back rolled down the hill through dirt and leaves and landed in a stinking rotten gut pile and you pick it up and put it in a ice chest. Find a water hose ,take your knife and clean the meat up before you ice it down. Your family is eating this meat. It takes us a lot of time to get this meat clean and edible . And from this day forward it will cost you lots of money for us to do this . I spent enough time today trying to clean up one deer , that I could have processed 2 deer .so please try to cut off hair, gut shot mess and the dirt before you ice it down . Once again we understand every deer will not be perfectly clean. But you should know when it’s too dirty to put in your ice chest. Ok that’s all I got. Have a great day and happy hunting . Thanks
