As of Monday November 11 we are still full and not taking deer.with the loss of our only helper for the rest of the season, this will be a regular occurrence. I will be flying solo the rest of the season and this will cut the number of deer we can do in half. A lot of our long time customers will probably not be able to get in and We are very sorry for any inconvenience but there is no other option. Calling and listening to our voicemail will be the way to find out if we are accepting deer or not . Please remember to call right before you want to head our way because the status could change At short notice. The times we do start taking deer again, we will only be taking a limited number of deer and we will not take any deer with a kill date older than 5 days old . You do have the option of freezing your deer in heavy trash bags and bringing it to us at the end of season in late February . Once again I’m very sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks

I had thought about retiring this year but we decided to stay open and just cut our number of deer processed back a bit . For the last twelve years I’ve had a good friend helping me process that I’ve known since I was 18 years old . He is the fastest person with a knife I’ve ever worked with. Yesterday while working processing deer, he said he needed to go home because he just wasn’t feeling right, as soon as he got home his wife had to call a ambulance. To make a long story short he had a heart issue and had to be taken to Dallas for heart surgery, he has came thru surgery ok , but it’s obvious he will no longer be able to work. This will highly affect the numbof deer I can process this year . So please call our number and listen to our voicemail and it will tell you if we are full or taking deer . 903 949 4686 I’m sorry if some off our longtime customers won’t be able to get in but there is no other option . I know not everyone looks at Facebook so help me spread the word to call and check my voicemail before bringing a deer. I don’t want anyone to drive all the way here and we are not taking deer at that time . Some other options for processing is ftf processing in hooks , or Rock Creek processing. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks

We want to wish all of our customers a merry Christmas and happy new year . I would of made this post a couple days ago but I’ve spent the last two days sitting in a lawn chair wearing shorts and a tee shirt inside my walk in cooler where it is a balmy 34 degrees 😂😂 Friday morning when I opened the cooler door for the first time I actually thought the cooler went out because it felt warm at 34. We will be opened back up the day after Christmas. Once again thank you to all our awesome customers merry Christmas

I’ve started to make this post a couple of times and backed out because I don’t want to offend anyone. But I feel this needs to be said. First we appreciate all of our customers very much, and the majority of our customers bring us good clean deer, but we have had a high number of bad filthy and dirty deer this year. We totally expect every deer that comes to us to have some hair maybe a leaf or two or a piece of grass now and then. We know in the field that happens. We have it set in our prices to spend a little time cleaning that up and we take pride in that. So if your one of our customers, who take care of your deer in the right way, this is not for you. But if your the ones who take no pride or care of what you put in a ice chest, please stop doing this . I’ve seen some things the last few days that I can’t believe a sober person would put in a ice chest with meat you intend to eat . Some of it looks like it has been drug across the cats back rolled down the hill through dirt and leaves and landed in a stinking rotten gut pile and you pick it up and put it in a ice chest. Find a water hose ,take your knife and clean the meat up before you ice it down. Your family is eating this meat. It takes us a lot of time to get this meat clean and edible . And from this day forward it will cost you lots of money for us to do this . I spent enough time today trying to clean up one deer , that I could have processed 2 deer .so please try to cut off hair, gut shot mess and the dirt before you ice it down . Once again we understand every deer will not be perfectly clean. But you should know when it’s too dirty to put in your ice chest. Ok that’s all I got. Have a great day and happy hunting . Thanks
