We would like to give a big shout out to Justin, owner of Overhead Arborists, LLC and Luke at Work Trailers. Our Veterans memorial flag rope had become damaged and stuck on the pulley 40ft high. Luckily they reached out to me and volunteered to fix the flagpole. Justin, a veteran himself, was more than happy to help, and Luke, as a fellow member of the Pittsburg community, was eager to lend a hand as well. Thank you to both these men and the businesses. The memorial flag pole is ready to go!

🌨️❄️ Winter is here, and so are the challenges it brings! Stay safe and prepared by following the 5 Ps of winter weather safety:

✅People: Check on family, friends, and neighbors, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Make sure they have heat, food, and meds.

✅Pets: Keep pets indoors during extreme cold. If they must go outside, provide warm shelter and plenty of food and water.

✅Pipes: Insulate pipes and let faucets drip to prevent freezing. Open cabinet doors to circulate warm air around the plumbing.

✅Plants: Protect your outdoor plants with burlap or frost cloth and bring potted ones indoors. Mulch can also help insulate roots.

✅Preparation: Ensure your home and car are winter-ready! Stock up on food, water, and essentials, and have an emergency kit. Check your chimney's ventilation, make sure it is clean before use, and use proper fire safety.

Following these guidelines can keep yourself and your loved ones safe this winter! Stay warm and cozy! 🧣🏠
