MECCC’s COE/BOLD Program was delighted to host a special Prostate Cancer Workshop event on January 31st spearheaded by Black Health Matters in collaboration with One Hundred Black Men of New York, Prostate Health Matters, The Bronx Alphas, and The Wall Street Alphas, and sponsored by Amgen and Jumo Health.

Nearly 40 men attended, in which MECCC’s Dr. Christopher Jakubowswki and BOLD Buddy, Charles Henry, shared their knowledge, experience, and support on clinical trials and thriving after prostate cancer. Great entree to Cancer Prevention Month!

Join us for a special Breast, Cervical & Prostate Cancer Screening Event Together at the Montefiore Einstein Breast Care Center, Hutchinson Campus, located at 1250 Waters Place, 7th Floor, Tower One, Bronx, NY 10461. The event will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This Valentine’s Day season, take the opportunity to prioritize your health. We offer mammograms for women aged 40 and above, and prostate cancer PSA tests for men aged 45 and older. Additionally, cervical cancer screenings, including Pap smears and HPV tests, are available for women aged 40 to 65 who haven't been screened in the past three years.

Registration is recommended. Please call the MECCC-BOLD Program at 718-430-3613, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to register for the event.

Únase a nosotros para un evento especial de detección temprana de cáncer de mama, cuello uterino y próstata en el Centro Montefiore Einstein de Salud Mamaria (Montefiore Einstein Breast Care Center), en el Hutchinson campus, ubicado en 1250 Waters Place, Piso 7, Torre Uno, Bronx, NY 10461. El evento se llevará a cabo el sábado, 7 de febrero de 2026, de 9:00 am a 12:00 pm.

En esta temporada de San Valentín, aproveche la oportunidad para priorizar su salud. Ofrecemos mamografías para mujeres de 40 años y más, y pruebas de PSA para el cáncer de próstata para hombres de 45 años o más. Además, se ofrecerán exámenes para el cáncer cervical, que incluyen pruebas de Papanicolaou y VPH, para mujeres de 40 a 65 años que no se hayan hecho un examen en los últimos tres años.

We are excited to share about our recent COE/BOLD-coordinated Anti-Vaping Educational Workshop for a group of nearly 190 high school students, teachers, staff and others at Montfort Academy in Mt Vernon, NY. This important outreach event was led by Dr. Juhan Lee, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Einstein, and Dr. Hannah Mitchell, Assistant Professor of Clinical Health Psychology at Ferkauf.
