The Gorge Academy has once again partnered with University of Western States to offer an in person continuing education class at the University's anatomy lab in Portland. This class is open to massage therapists, as well as those working in other professions related to healthcare and wellness.

We will be getting a detailed view of dissected anatomical structures through direct observation, and palpation to help increase knowledge of the human body and the kinesiology related structures LMTs work with every day. Improve your ability to create effective treatment plans, better understand the structures of the human body, and get hands on experience that goes beyond diagrams in a text book.

The Gorge Academy's student massage clinic is open for 2026! Our students are in the last two months of training, and are offering advanced techniques to clients such as - hot stone massage, cupping or reflexology, a $10 add on to our standard 60 minute massage at $45.
Or book an additional 30 minutes to your appointment for just $15! That's a 90 minute massage for just $60!

The Gorge Academy's massage program is offering Saturday appointments this weekend in our student clinic. 💆60 minute relaxation, aromatherapy and deep tissue massages are only $45!

Massages are performed by students in training under the supervision of a licensed massage therapist. Students gain experience through their work in our clinic to level up their techniques, client communication, and professional organization skills, as well as providing a valuable service to our community. Our student clinic has a reputation for excellent massages and professionalism. Come in, relax, and experience a student massage while helping our students on their journey to becoming licensed massage therapists!

Upcoming service Saturday dates: December 13th. January 17th, and February 14th from 2-6 PM.
Normal operating hours for our student clinic are Monday through Wednesday, 1- 6 PM.

Gorge Academy is excited to finally announce our partnership with University of Western States in Portland for a Hands-On Workshop on Monday, August 11th at 10am - 2pm.

This class will give you a close-up look at the anatomical structures of the human body by observing dissected human cadavers that have been prepared for medical students at the University of Western States. This will give massage therapists a detailed view of the anatomy that we work with on a daily basis, and help to increase understanding and awareness of the relationships of these structures.

The objective of the course is to gain hands-on experience with human anatomy through direct observation, enhance your palpation skills by identifying anatomical landmarks, improve your ability to create effective treatment plans based on anatomical knowledge, and better understand the relationship between muscles, bones and connective tissue so you can increase understanding to assist your clients with wellness through massage therapy.

The Gorge Academy ProClinic is now offering hair and facial services!! We are so excited to expand our service menu, and offer wellness and beauty services that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and beautiful from head to toe.

Hair appointments are available with our hair instructor Pam Pacheco and two of the Gorge Academy's hair program alumni, Ella Guenther and Kaylee Fleming. Facial appointments are available on Saturdays only with our esthetics instructor Stacey Grant.
