Live country tunes and many local faces turned our Harvest Festival into a proper celebration in WBV's Independent Living! 🍁

With Aubrey on the microphone and vendors setting up shop, the Harvest Festival gave our residents the perfect excuse to mingle. Add in seasonal tastings and great music- the focus was simply on connecting with neighbors and guests. It was a relaxed and joyful way to welcome the season together. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Join us on Thursday, December 11th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm as we showcase beautifully decorated wreaths and host a special auction benefiting Wreaths Across America, a non-profit organization dedicated to adorning the graves of our nation’s fallen heroes with wreaths each year. 🇺🇸

in WBV's Independent Living was delightfully whimsical! Our costumed Mickey and Minnie handed out special gift bags during Bingo, while Disney tunes played, turning the afternoon into a playful mix of prizes and photo ops! 🐭🎁🎶

At Watercrest Buena Vista, our meant more than a ceremony, but rather a chance to look our veterans in the eyes and say “thank you.” Each pin placed was a moment of gratitude for the service, character, and resilience that continue to shape our community. We set aside special time on for our veterans at Watercrest Buena Vista!

A special pinning ceremony with VITAS Healthcare led into a lunch just for them, gift bags from The American Legion, and time to share service stories and reflect together. We closed with a patriotic performance by Petrina that turned into a room wide sing-along, making a simple, sincere thank-you to those who served. 🇺🇸🎖️

Chips hit the plates, and the mic lit up for ! We celebrated with nachos, margaritas, and an Open Mic Night with stories, jokes, and some hidden talent. We all heard plenty of laughter and had an extra margarita for good measure! 🌮🍹

A picnic lunch and a little live music made for a perfect afternoon at Edna’s!

Our Independent Living neighbors enjoyed a beautiful day at Edna’s on the Green with really great food. There's nothing we love more than an outing with our friends. 🧺🎶

Thank you to every vendor and participant who joined us outdoors for the LS4C event. Your continued partnership and support play a significant role in the success of these events. The services and care you provide contribute greatly to the experience we create for our residents and guests, and we truly value the relationships we are building together!

Participation pays off! Assisted Living residents at Watercrest Buena Vista earn Watercrest Dollars for each activity they attend, and then, “shop” at each month’s end to pick up the things they've been eyeing. It's a practical and motivating thing everyone loves in our community! 💙🛍️
