At Sumter Senior Living, our residents had a wonderful time playing a lively game of turkey volleyball, filling the room with laughter, teamwork, and holiday cheer. After the fun and friendly competition, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious slice of homemade pie. Whether it was classic pumpkin pie, warm apple pie, or a savory meat pie, each resident found a favorite treat to enjoy as we celebrated the season together. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE 🦃🥧💜

As we enter a season defined by gratitude and giving, we also recognize that many families are experiencing food insecurity. To help support those in need, our community is collecting non-perishable food items now through December 31. And thanks to Grace Management, Inc., every donation will be matched pound for pound (up to 100 pounds) to extend the impact even further.

Residents enjoyed a meaningful outing to Christian Voices United at the Community United Methodist Church of Fruitland Park, where they were uplifted by inspiring music, fellowship, and a joyful atmosphere.

The concert filled the room with heartfelt harmony, and our residents were delighted to be part of such a spirit-filled experience. It was a beautiful evening of community, connection, and celebration, leaving everyone with smiles, gratitude, and renewed encouragement.

We proudly held a heartfelt Veterans Ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Surrounded by fellow residents, staff, and guests, we took time to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our veterans who have protected our freedom.

The ceremony was filled with gratitude, reflection, and appreciation for their service. A special thank you to VITAS for joining us and presenting certificates and pins to each veteran, adding a meaningful touch to this special occasion. It was truly a day of remembrance, respect, and pride for all who served. We salute you 🇺🇸
