Today our residents at Sumter Senior Living had an amazing time celebrating Earth Day with a fun and creative rock painting activity. The residents truly enjoyed expressing their creativity as they painted colorful designs, uplifting messages, and beautiful patterns on their rocks.
It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, laughing, and spending time together during this special activity. After finishing their artwork, the residents placed their painted rocks throughout the community for others to see and enjoy.
It was a great way to celebrate Earth Day while spreading a little extra joy and color around Sumter Senior Living.🌎🪨💜🎨🖌

Our Garden Club has been busy and blooming with excitement! 🌼🌿 We recently received our brand-new raised garden beds, and our residents have already been hard at work filling them with beautiful, vibrant flowers.
There’s something truly special about coming together with friends, enjoying the fresh air, and soaking up the sunshine while creating something beautiful. These moments not only brighten our gardens, but also our days. 💛

What an incredible night at our Senior Prom with our Village Program family! 💜✨ The evening was filled with music, dancing, and so many meaningful moments. From shared laughter to genuine connections between residents and their loved ones, it was a true celebration of joy and togetherness. Seeing everyone engaged and enjoying the night reminded us what this program is all about—bringing people together and living life to the fullest. ✨️Today at Sumter Senior Living, we had a wonderful time honoring some incredible women in history! Our team dressed up as Rosa Parks, Oprah Winfrey, Frida Kahlo, Florence Nightingale, and Rosie the Riveter while sharing poems about each of these influential women with our residents.
✨️Two of our wonderful residents also joined in the fun by dressing up as Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Betsy Ross, which made the activity even more special.
✨️Together we celebrated their legacies, learned about their impact on history, and enjoyed bringing these inspiring stories to life. It was a meaningful and engaging experience that brought smiles to everyone here in our community.
