🩵Our Parkinson’s Walk at the beautiful Polo Club was a huge success and truly an amazing experience for everyone involved. Residents, staff, and supporters came together to enjoy a day filled with encouragement, movement, and community spirit while raising awareness for Parkinson’s.
The atmosphere was uplifting as everyone walked together, shared smiles, and supported one another throughout the event. It was a wonderful day at The Villages, and we are so grateful for everyone who participated and helped make the event such a memorable and meaningful occasion.🩵...

📚 March is National Reading Month! 📚
Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating with a fun activity—Blind Date with a Book! 💌📖 Each book was wrapped so the title and cover remained a mystery. The only clue our residents had was the genre, making the selection a surprise until they opened it.
Everyone enjoyed the excitement of picking their “date,” discovering new stories, and sharing the joy that reading brings. It was a great way to spark curiosity, conversation, and a love of books!
We loved seeing our residents get excited about reading and can’t wait to do it again. 📚✨

☘️Our residents had a wonderful time participating in the Shamrock Hunt here at Sumter Senior Living, and we are excited to congratulate our first-place winner, Kathy! With a sharp eye and great enthusiasm, Kathy searched high and low to find the most shamrocks and claim the top prize.
The event was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of St. Patrick’s Day spirit. Moments like these bring our residents together and create fun, lasting memories, and we are so proud of Kathy for her fantastic win! Enjoyyy your prize Kathy🍀🎉

We had so much fun celebrating National Barbie Day at Sumter Senior Living!
Our residents enjoyed a day full of pink, laughter, and sweet memories as we talked about Barbie through the years and all the fun she represents. It was a wonderful time filled with smiles and great conversation.

✨️🕊Today we gathered to honor and celebrate the life of our beloved resident, Don. The memorial service was a beautiful tribute filled with heartfelt stories, shared memories, and moments of reflection that reminded us all of the joy and kindness he brought into our community.
Family, friends, residents, and staff came together to support one another, finding comfort in the love and laughter Don shared throughout his time with us. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will always remain a part of our Sumter Senior Living family.✨️🕊
