⭐️ Team Member Spotlight: Casey ⭐️
Casey began her journey in the assisted living field at just 16 years old as a Resident Care Aide. By the age of 18, she advanced to becoming a Med Tech and soon after earned her CNA certification. Even early in her career, Casey demonstrated a deep compassion for caring for others and a natural connection with seniors.
After taking some time away to welcome her first son, Casey returned to the healthcare field, working in Memory Care where she rediscovered her passion for serving residents with dementia-related diagnoses. Although she briefly considered pursuing a degree in early childhood education, the arrival of her second and third sons helped her realize that her true calling was the same place where her career began—caring for seniors and supporting individuals living with memory loss.
Casey went on to attend nursing school, where she excelled and graduated with honors. Over the past 14 years, she has gained valuable experience across multiple areas of nursing including surgical care, dermatology, home health, and skilled nursing. Yet no matter where her career has taken her, Casey has always found her way back to assisted living and memory care, where her heart belongs.
What makes Casey so special is the dedication she shows to our residents every single day. She approaches her work with compassion, patience, and an unwavering commitment to advocating for both residents. Casey consistently goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, valued, and cared for, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand or offer encouragement to those around her.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three sons. She is also a huge baseball fan—you can often find her at a Tampa Bay Rays game. Creative and artistic by nature, Casey enjoys making handmade crafts as a way to relax and recharge.
We are incredibly grateful to have Casey as our Wellness Diector and appreciate the heart, dedication, and positivity she brings to our community each day.
