Your athlete trains their body every day. But the mental side of sports is just as important.

Many high school athletes quietly struggle with:
⚽ performance anxiety before games
⚽ pressure to succeed
⚽ loss of confidence after mistakes
⚽ stress balancing sports, school and expectations

Our EMDR Sports Performance program helps athletes process difficult experiences, rebuild confidence and develop stronger emotional resilience.

Led by a former Division 1 soccer athlete, this program understands the real pressures student-athletes face.
For younger athletes, we also include a parent session so families can better support their child’s growth both on and off the field.

Sessions are available in English or Spanish. Learn more:

Left step.
Right step.
Left step.
Right step.

This is bilateral stimulation.

In EMDR, we use it to help the brain process and integrate difficult experiences.

In nature, the body often finds this rhythm on its own.

Walking the trail becomes part of the work.

Each step supports regulation.
Each step grounds the body.
Each step moves the process forward.

We’re not just talking about healing. We’re walking through it.

Not everyone heals by talking.

Older kids don’t always want to “just talk.” And adults sometimes don’t have the words either.

Sandtray Therapy offers a structured, directive way for children, teens and adults to explore emotions, relationships and experiences through symbolic expression in the sand.

At Happy Camper Therapy, we use Sandtray Therapy to support emotional regulation, trauma processing, anxiety and social challenges across the lifespan. Sometimes the story feels safer in the sand first.

Curious if Sandtray Therapy is right for you or your child? Visit happycampertherapy.com to learn more or schedule a consultation today 🩷💙

Some things don’t just fade with time.

They stay… in the body, in our reactions, in ways we don’t always understand.

We’re holding a space to talk about The Body Keeps the Score. A gentle, guided conversation where you can reflect, listen, or simply be.

No pressure to share. You don’t need to have all the words.
Just come as you are.

⚠️ Limited spots.

EMDR might sound complicated, but the idea behind it is actually simple.

When children or adults experience something overwhelming, the brain sometimes can't fully process the memory. It can stay "stuck" and continue to trigger emotional distress.

EMDR helps the brain finish processing those memories. Through guided eye movements or tapping, the brain can reprocess the experience so it feels less overwhelming over time.

The memory doesn't disappear but the emotional intensity often decreases. Many people find EMDR helpful for trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences.

Healing is possible. 🌿
