Things your Massage Therapist wants you to know...
1) when we say get undressed to whatever you are comfortable with... we mean it. We don't care if you have your un**es on or not. We are used to working with both.
2) when we ask how your body is feeling. We really want to know. Your feedback helps us to know what areas to concentrate on.
3) stop worrying about forgetting to shave your legs, back, armpits. We don't care!!! Seriously. We can't feel your leg hair bc of our cream and we just use more cream with your back hair.
4) don't worry if you start crying. Just let it out. It's another form of release.
5) speaking of release.... if you toot, it's not a big deal. I promise we won't post about you on fb 😉
6) when we ask you how the pressure is, we want you to tell us. If you want more pressure, say it. If the pressure is too much, tell us. It's your massage. You aren't going to hurt our feelings.
7) massage increases circulation. To all parts of your body... enough said. Wait, one more thing about this. We can tell the difference between what's natural and what's extreme. So, don’t be a weirdo…
8)😎 if you just got through working out, don't sweat it. Just wear deodorant! My massage is gonna make you sweat even more 😉
9) if you are running late, yes we expect you to pay for the whole hour even though we only had 45 mins to work on you.
10) if you no show. Pay for the time that the therapist had marked off for you. We don't get paid for the day. We get paid by the appt.
11) don’t get to your appt more than 10 minutes early. We spend the little bit of time we have in between clients to change the sheets and get the room ready for you. We return texts and phone calls during that time. We try to shove food in our mouths during that time. And we try to get grounded and ready for you!!! Give us the time to do that.
