I am looking for a person who can troubleshoot a few configuration issues we are having with Windows Server 2012 and office network configuration. Can be done remotely but ideally a "house call" to the office and working with me one evening or weekend day should resolve all issues. I can pay per hour or trade medical services--a physical exam with labs etc for example. No interest in setting up any recurrent services with a company. This is a one/two time gig for some extra cash or the need for an uninsured person to get a comprehensive physical exam done by me. Timing is asap.

For many physicians like myself, this is a welcome way to help our patients who are experiencing reinfection despite a 2-3 course vaccine history. All cases of COVID positive in the past week are in my patients ages 16-65+ who have already received Pfizer or Moderna course with booster shots! Availability is going to be the big question.

Today, the FDA issued an EUA for the first oral antiviral for treatment of COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients.

As of this morning I suspect that the new strain--Omicron--is rapidly expanding around the greater Houston area. Both cases this morning in our office were individuals who had received full vaccinations including boosters. Their tests were instantly positive yet their symptoms mild enough and quite similar to rhinovirus (cold). Fear is spread to still unvaccinated and vulnerable people one week before Christmas. For that reason I am suggesting to all our patients to postpone routine physicals and non-urgent visits and prefer virtual visits. Based on what happens in the next 48 hours I might close the office to in person appointments.
