Blue Cross Blue Shield – NO LAPSE IN COVERAGE!

We are aware that Blue Cross Blue Shield sent a letter to Hometown's BC/BS families informing them that, as of March 1, 2022, we would no longer be a part of their provider network. Since then, we have contracted directly with BC/BS (instead of through our local hospital system), so there will be NO lapse in our ability to accept BC/BS coverage. COVID-19 Vaccinations For Children 5 Through 11 Years Of Age

Hometown Pediatrics has been designated as an approved COVID-19 vaccine site in the state of Texas. We recently received a limited supply of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 5-11. If you would like a vaccine, please contact our office to schedule an appointment at 281-292-8980. Vaccines are by appointment only.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children (ages 5-11) is a pediatric-specific dose. The CDC recommends that a second dose be given at least three weeks following the initial dose to complete the series. For additional information please go to the CDC website at:
