With classes 7 days a week, including regular & hot yoga, there's always time to find your flow. We are an alignment based hatha yoga studio offering 18 kinds of classes for all levels between our unheated and hot yoga rooms. Beginner classes include: Seniors, Hatha 1: Gentle, Hatha 2: Basics, Core Balance, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Shape and Hot Slow Flow. I have been a member of TWYS and have been teaching HOT SET 26/2 here for the last year since taking Greg’s teacher training. I have my 200HR YTT from YogaFit. I am Certified, through Life Changing Energy and Yoga Renew, as a Sound Healer. I have a Master’s Degree in Health Education and Exercise Science from Central Michigan University. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. I have been teaching Yoga, Pilates and many other fitness formats for many years. Fun, Functional Fitness and Inclusivity are important to me in my classes. My favorite place to be either teaching or practicing yoga is Tulum, Mexico, on the Mayan Rivera!

Meet The Teacher!

Personal Yoga Journey
I started practicing yoga because I needed a way to heal and reconnect with my body. Years of stress and pain had taken a toll, and yoga offered a kinder path forward. It helped me release tension, rebuild my health during a major weight loss journey, and find clarity and presence in my daily life. I knew I wanted to teach when I realized how much the practice had changed my life from the inside out. I felt called to share something that helps people feel safe, supported, and capable at any age.

Teaching Style and Philosophy
I would describe my teaching style as clear, steady, and supportive. My hope is that students leave class feeling calmer, more spacious, and more at ease in their bodies. A guiding intention I like to share is come home to yourself which reminds us that yoga is a place for steadiness rather than performance.

Favorite Yoga Practices
I love teaching Basics and Gentle. The slower pace invites students to tune in and move with intention. Supported Bridge is one of my favorite poses because it creates space in the spine and encourages a deep sense of release. I follow a consistent class structure beginning on the back, moving to the belly, then to all fours, into standing, then seated, and finally back to the mat. The familiarity helps students settle in and feel grounded.

Beyond the Mat
I bring yoga into daily life through presence and kindness. I make space to pause, breathe, and respond with steadiness. For self care, I love long walks, a simple home practice, and quiet evenings with my family.

For Fun
If I could take a yoga class anywhere in the world, I would choose a quiet overlook in Tenerife with the ocean breeze all around. My best advice for someone new to yoga is to give yourself permission to begin. The practice will meet you with grace every time.
