Music Therapy Brings Joy and Memories

Every week, our residents gather to sing hymns and old favorite songs. The familiar melodies lift spirits, spark cherished memories, and create a beautiful sense of togetherness. For over a decade Mrs.Suzette, our faithful volunteer has filled our home with the beautiful sound of music on the piano, bringing joy to every heart. Her dedication, kindness, and music have been a treasured gift to our residents and community. Thank you Mrs.Suzette! We love you and appreciate you!❤️🤗💐🎹🎶🎼🎵

It’s a hot day today, so we treated our residents to refreshing snow cones in strawberry and blueberry flavors, along with vanilla ice cream. This morning we made lotion out on the patio, enjoying the sunshine and birdsong. The residents picked their favorite essential oils—like lavender and peppermint and loved how good everything smelled. It was a peaceful, feel-good activity that really engaged their senses.
