Low back pain? You’re definitely not alone.

Long drives. Desk work. Lifting kids. Chores. Ranch work. Snow shoveling.
Our backs go through a LOT every day here in Wyoming.

The good news? Most back pain isn’t serious, and small changes can make a big difference.

Try this at home:
✅ Stand up and move every 30–60 minutes
✅ Gentle stretches for hips + hamstrings
✅ Light core work (bridges, bird dogs, dead bugs)
✅ Avoid staying in one position too long
✅ Don’t ignore pain that lasts more than a week or keeps coming back

Back pain doesn’t mean you’re “getting old” it usually means something just needs a little strength, mobility, or balance.

If you ever want guidance, our team at Gottsche Longevity and Performance Centers are always happy to help you figure out what’s going on and get you moving comfortably again ❤️

Is your shoulder talking back lately? 🤔

Trouble reaching overhead…
Pain when sleeping on one side…
That “pinch” when putting on a coat…

You’re not alone, shoulder pain is one of the most common things we see.

Before you ignore it, try these simple tips:
✅ Stretch your chest + upper back daily
✅ Keep shoulders down and back (less hunching at computers/phones)
✅ Light resistance band exercises can help stabilize the joint
✅ Don’t push through sharp pain

Small aches can turn into bigger problems if you wait too long. Getting it checked early usually means faster recovery and fewer visits.

If you’re unsure what’s normal vs. not, our team at Gottsche Longevity and Performance Centers are always happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction. ❤️

If your knee has been aching lately, you’re not alone.
Stairs, workouts, squatting, getting out of the car, suddenly everything feels harder.

Here’s something most people don’t realize:

Knee pain often isn’t actually caused by the knee.

Your knee sits between your hips and ankles, so when:
• hips are weak
• glutes aren’t doing their job
• ankles are stiff
• or movement patterns change

…the knee ends up taking extra stress.

Over time, that extra load turns into soreness or irritation.

A few simple habits can help:
✔ strengthen hips and glutes
✔ stretch calves and quads
✔ avoid sitting too long
✔ pay attention to form when squatting or climbing stairs

Little changes can make a big difference.

Take care of those knees, they carry you everywhere 💙

D is for DISTINCTIVE

At Gottsche, our care and our values are R.O.O.T.E.D. 🌱
We’re wrapping up our ROOTED series with the final value.

Today, we explain the D: Distinctive.

Distinctive care means going beyond the standard approach.
It’s the combination of clinical expertise, compassion, creativity, and deep community connection that sets Gottsche apart.

ROOTED care isn’t ordinary, and neither are the people we serve.

At Gottsche, our care and our values are R.O.O.T.E.D. 🌱
Each value guides how we show up for our patients and communities.

Today, we explain the E: Educated.

Educated care means our therapists stay current with evidence-based practices and continue learning so patients receive the highest quality care possible.
It also means empowering patients with knowledge, because understanding your body is a powerful part of healing.

ROOTED care is informed, intentional, and always growing.

At Gottsche, our care and our values are R.O.O.T.E.D. 🌱
We’re continuing our ROOTED series by explaining each value one by one.

Today, we explain the T: Tailored.

No two patients are the same, and their care shouldn’t be either.
Tailored care means individualized treatment plans designed around each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.

ROOTED care isn’t one-size-fits-all.
It’s personal, intentional, and built around you.
