✨ Here 👇 comment “RELAX” to learn simple ways to support calmer, more efficient feeds ✨

These small steps lead to BIG wins.

Gentle facial massage and body stretches help release tension, organize the nervous system, and prepare the mouth and body for feeding.

👶 Reducing tension allows the jaw and tongue to move more efficiently
👶 Improved body organization supports coordination and endurance
👶 A regulated nervous system helps babies feed with more ease

When the body feels tight, feeding can feel hard.
When the body feels relaxed, feeding becomes more efficient.

This isn’t complicated — it’s intentional support that helps babies feel comfortable and successful during feeds.

💛 Small daily moments can create meaningful changes for both baby and parent.

✨ Here 👇 comment “LATCH” to learn how to support an efficient latch at home ✨

Parents always ask how to know if a latch is “right.”

An efficient latch should feel comfortable, stay secure, and allow baby to feed with a calm, rhythmic suck-swallow pattern — not clicking, slipping, gulping, or working too hard.

This gentle suck training helps babies learn to maintain tongue contact, create a better seal, and coordinate the movements needed for effective feeding.

👶 The tongue stays cupped and elevated
👶 Lips maintain a secure seal
👶 Jaw moves rhythmically — not choppy or tense
👶 Feeding looks calm and organized

When latch is efficient, babies transfer milk more effectively, take in less air, and feeding becomes more comfortable for both baby and parent.

If latch feels stressful or disorganized, it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong — it simply means your baby may need support building these skills.

💛 Inside The Feeding Connections Collection, I teach parents how to support latch, sucking skills, and oral coordination with easy-to-follow videos and simple handouts you can use during those overwhelming newborn days.

Because feeding support should feel clear, simple, and doable — even when you’re exhausted.

✨ Here 👇 comment “TONGUE” to learn how to support healthy tongue posture and feeding skills at home ✨

Something I wish I could teach every parent…

This simple oral massage helps stimulate the tongue to lift and rest on the palate instead of staying low in the mouth.

When the tongue rests low, babies may work harder during feeding, struggle with coordination, or develop compensatory patterns.

👶 Gentle stimulation can encourage tongue elevation
👶 Tongue elevation supports efficient sucking and swallowing
👶 Proper tongue posture supports airway stability and oral development

The best part? This is simple for parents to learn and safely do at home. I teach families exactly how to support this movement so babies can build stronger, more organized oral patterns.

💛 Great times to practice include:
• after diaper changes
• during calm, alert moments
• before feeds to help organize the mouth
• during bonding routines

Feeding therapists recommend these gentle techniques because small, consistent input helps build the foundations babies need for feeding and future oral skills.

Small movements.
Big impact.

✨ Here 👇 comment “ME” to get The Feeding Connections Collection and start creating calmer, more confident feeds at home ✨

Here’s what I wish someone would’ve told me as a new mom…

Feeding isn’t supposed to feel stressful, confusing, or full of guesswork.
If your baby struggles to latch, seems uncomfortable, clicks, gulps, or feeds feel chaotic — it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.

It means your baby may need a little support building the skills that make feeding easier.

👶 Small adjustments in positioning, oral motor support, and pacing can completely change a feeding experience.
👶 When the mouth and body feel organized, babies feed with more ease.
👶 And when feeds feel calmer, parents feel more confident.

You were never meant to figure this out alone.

💛 The Feeding Connections Collection gives you easy-to-follow handouts and short videos you can watch on your own time — so you know exactly what to look for and how to help.

✨ Here 👇 comment “MORE” to learn simple ways to support your baby’s development at home ✨

More is happening here than you think…

This simple movement isn’t just play — it’s helping baby stretch the neck, build strength, and develop visual tracking skills.

👶 Tracking supports eye coordination and brain development
👶 Neck stretching improves mobility and reduces tension
👶 Head control builds the stability needed for feeding and oral motor skills

When babies follow movement with their eyes and head, they are building connections that support posture, coordination, and overall regulation.

Small movements.
Big developmental impact.

💛 Supporting the body supports feeding, movement, and future milestones.

✨ Here 👇 comment “BODY” to learn simple ways to support your baby at home with our body stretch guide! ✨

Tummy time isn’t just for milestones — it supports feeding too.

Feeding is a full-body skill. When babies develop strength and stability through tummy time, they build the foundation needed for safer swallowing, better coordination, and more organized feeds.

👶 Neck strength supports suck-swallow coordination
👶 Core stability helps maintain posture during feeds
👶 Midline control supports hands-to-mouth skills
👶 Reduced tension allows the mouth to move more efficiently

When the body feels stable, the mouth can do its job.

💛 Small daily movements can lead to calmer feeds, improved coordination, and a more regulated baby.

Simple movements = BIG results.

When we support baby’s body first, we help create the stability and strength needed for feeding, development, and regulation.

👶 Gentle tummy positioning and supporting the elbows underneath the shoulders helps build postural strength, improve coordination, and reduce tension patterns that can impact feeding and oral motor function.

This isn’t just about tummy time.
It’s about building the foundation the whole body depends on.

💛 Stronger posture and better body organization lead to calmer feeds, improved motor skills, and a more regulated baby.

✨ Here 👇 comment “MASSAGE” to get our Infant Oral Massage Guide and learn simple techniques you can use at home ✨

If I could go back, I would tell every parent to do this every day.

Gentle oral massage and facial support help babies relax, organize their mouth movements, and feel more comfortable during feeding.

👶 These simple techniques can reduce tension, improve tongue and jaw coordination, support latch, and promote calmer, more efficient feeds.

It doesn’t take long.
It doesn’t have to be complicated.
But it can make a meaningful difference.

💛 When the mouth feels safe and relaxed, feeding becomes easier — and babies feel it too.
