While on my own spiritual path, the desire to help others became paramount. Reading and studying the works of powerful spiritual leaders lead me to the practice of Jikidan Reiki and the desire to become a practitioner.

​Growing up in a family of powerful females filled with gifts that made the world a better place forged a path for me filled with enlightenment and purpose. For generations the gift of faith healing was passed down female to female. My Approach

While the experience of Jikiden Reiki treatment is individual, it is often accompanied by a deep feeling of warmth, well-being, comfort, relaxation, and revitalization. Our body uses the extra energy of Jikiden Reiki to help repair its self quicker than it could otherwise. Many people experience other benefits including pain relief during the treatment. During a treatment everyone feels something different: warmth, heat, coolness, comfort, relaxation, and tingling are often reported. A Jikiden Reiki treatment is a very personal experience and there is no one particular feeling you should experience. Reiki supports and amplifies both conventional alopathic and Asian medical and non-medical treatments, as well as homeopathic and naturopathic therapies. For some people 1-3 treatments are enough to help them recover from a problem and for others or for chronic or very serious problems a longer course of treatments is recommended. While definite benefit can be gained from just a single treatment, to get the best results from Reiki, regular sessions are important. I’m a rodent, Jim, not a meteorologist!

Well, it’s Groundhog Day…again. It’s the one time where social media really fails to capture the true excitement of a large squirrel predicting the weather. Groundhogs, also known as woodchucks or whistlepigs, are the largest members of the squirrel family. If the groundhog sees its shadow, legend has it that winter will last for six more weeks. If it doesn’t, we can expect early spring. Do groundhogs really believe they’re good at weather forecasting? Time will tell. About six weeks from now.
