EMay is putting on not one but two very special workshops over Labor Day!

Join us Monday, September 1st at 9am for a Happy Body, Refreshed Mind workshop. This friendly and nourishing practice is designed to cultivate a supportive relationship between the mind and body through breath-aligned movement and stillness. Our goal is comfort and stability in our bodies, supported by our focused mind, allowing us to deeply release our efforts into a relaxed space of gratitude, purpose, and wholeness. Come to create a positive intention for the next phase of your year, or simply to connect more deeply with yourself through this awakening experience of community yoga.

Then at 4pm join us for a Joy of Yoga workshop. Continuing on the themes of intentional friendliness set down in the morning. This practice highlights playful movements, longer holds, and a deep release of tension, creating more space for joy to float in. We explore this ancient path of love and devotion by chanting a mantra, connecting with and amplifying our prana (the inner life-force), contemplating the connection between ourselves and all that is, and ending with a guided meditation for deepening into love, joy, and bliss.

Come for one or both, but do come! Both workshops are beginner-friendly and a steal at our regular drop-in price of just $15. Included for Monthly Unlimited members.

Flow, create, and meditate with EMay and Emily Strulson. Join us over Memorial Day Weekend for a fun and fluid yoga workshop!

In this workshop, EMay will lead a creative, centering, and at times challenging hatha yoga practice, sequenced to guide you towards your edge and expand into your creative potential with confidence and joy. The asana practice will conclude with an extended relaxation and meditation to acknowledge our deep knowledge and rest in the seat of our potential. Artist-in-residence Emily Strulson will then guide a mandala-making practice to seal our joy and peacefulness into a colorful mandala that reminds us of the creative energy around us and within us.

This workshop is free and open to all levels of yoga and art experience. Please consider brining a donation in any amount to go to the Opera House Restoration Project.

Come as you are! Leave feeling better.

Family yoga with Lindsay is back!

Join us Saturday, April 26th at 9:30am for 45-minutes of kid-friendly movement and mindfulness. Designed for 3 - 6 year olds and their parent(s)/care-giver(s), this class will give your family the opportunity to breathe, move, and relax together. Music, games, stories, or books are used in class along with activities which promote connection and community. Brief moments of stillness are encouraged throughout class in kid relatable ways. Unlike the consistent still and quiet moments guaranteed to happen in adult yoga class — be prepared to find less of them here. Instead you and your child(ren) will move, play, and connect in fun ways while experiencing brief moments of stillness throughout class.

Book one spot per child and message us with any questions you may have! You can sign up at BrightBearYoga.com/schedule

Join Trish for a special pay-what-you-will Movement & Meditation session this Tuesday at 6pm. This practice begins with movement and breathwork, designed to elevate your heart rate and engage your breath. As your body energizes, your thinking brain begins to quiet, preparing you to transition into the stillness of meditation. The physical exertion helps to release tension and clear mental clutter, creating the ideal state for deep relaxation and mindfulness.

Let’s come together and hold space, for ourselves and one another. This week only, come find some inner peace for as little as $1. Come as you are. Leave feeling better.
