Our interdisciplinary team provides compassionate, comprehensive care — including nursing support, CNAs, social work services, chaplain support, physician oversight, medications, and needed medical equipment — all focused on comfort and quality of life.

🌟 Scholarship Opportunity for Seniors! 🌟

The Thomaston Hospice Foundation is now accepting applications for TWO scholarships to support future healthcare professionals! 💙✨

Eligibility Requirements:
âś… Must be a senior at a Thomaston/Upson County school
âś… Current transcript & SAT/ACT scores required
âś… Picture I.D. submission
âś… Two letters of recommendation (excluding family members)
âś… Acceptance letter from an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or technical school
âś… Must enroll in the Fall semester following high school graduation
âś… One-page typed essay on your desire to work in healthcare and how it relates to hospice care (including personal, work, or volunteer experiences)
âś… Positive consideration for applicants with volunteer experience in the medical field
âś… Interview with the Thomaston Hospice Foundation Scholarship Committee

Deadline:
Submit your application via email to info@thomastonhospice.com or in person at 512 South Center Street, Thomaston, GA 30286 by 5:00 p.m. on April 27, 2026.

Scholarship Announcement:
Winners will be announced on May 7, 2026.

Volunteers of America arrived at Thomaston Fire Department with open arms to assist with any veteran individuals that are in the warming station. However, they informed us that if there are any veterans that are displaced and need assistance, call the number on the flyer.
