A few months ago I shifted from the daily clinic grind at Big Oak PT to join with the Sports Medicine team at TCCHS because I believed we could build something elite for this community. From the outside, this career path may not seem logical but in my short time with Central Athletics I’ve found a new “why.” These young men and coaches work like champions, and last night we got to celebrate what they fought for.

Years from now, people will talk about the trophies and the records. I’ll remember the players who welcomed me, earned respect through the way they carried themselves, and grew into young men I’ll never forget. I hope I’ve been able to help you as much as you’ve helped me.

Let’s do it again next year!

“A strong team turns moments of change into seasons of growth.”

Big Oak Physical Therapy is entering an exciting new chapter. We’re proud to share that Wesley Brown has been promoted to Director of Operations, where he will oversee all day-to-day aspects of the clinics. Wesley is one of the hardest-working and most disciplined individuals I’ve ever met—not only a trusted friend, but a true leader whose personal and professional growth has been incredible to witness. We can’t wait to see the impact he’ll continue to make in this new role.

We’re also thrilled to welcome back Tylar Daniel, who many of you will remember from his time with us previously. Tylar brings a deep skill set in orthopedics and vestibular rehabilitation, and is dry-needling certified. His expertise and energy will be a huge asset to our patients and team alike.

And of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible foundation built by our team. Alliana and Mrs. Anne are essential pillars of Big Oak PT—dedicated, steady, and deeply invested in the care we provide every single day. We look forward to sharing more soon about the new ways they’ll be stepping into expanded roles as we grow.

There’s a lot more to come.

With Helene rapidly intensifying and approaching we have closed Big Oak PT for the remainder of the week. The safety of our patients and staff weighs heavy on our mind as our community braces for a historic impact.

Please join us in prayer for everyone in the path and for the first responders who are leaving their own families to help our community. Homes can be rebuilt, normalcy will return, but the health and safety of your loved ones doesn’t get a second chance. Take shelter and be safe.
