Please be aware of the traffic advisory affecting the Downingtown area this week.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Corporal Timothy O’Connor and the Pennsylvania State Police.

Traffic Advisory for Downingtown

This week Downingtown Borough and our Police Department will support the Pennsylvania State Police as they honor Corporal Timothy O’Connor during memorial services at Saint Joseph’s Church, 338 Manor Avenue.

You should expect major traffic impacts on Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18. Please avoid non essential travel through the Borough during these times.

Tuesday, March 17
• Manor Avenue (SR 322) will close at 2:00 p.m. for a procession to Saint Joseph’s Church
• Delays expected across Downingtown until about 3:30 p.m.
• Roads reopen after the procession passes

Wednesday, March 18
• Manor Avenue closed from Pennsylvania Avenue to Rock Raymond Road starting at 6:00 a.m.
• Closure expected until about 3:00 p.m.
• Route 30 Bypass ramps to Manor Avenue will close at 11:00 a.m. in both directions
