Happy Passover from all of us at Thornton Care Center! This special holiday honors the incredible journey of Moses and the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. The significance of the name "Passover" reflects the moment when God safeguarded the homes of the Jews during the 10th plague, marking a pivotal moment in history.

We recently celebrated with a delightful gathering that featured matzos topped with butter, cream cheese, and jelly. It was heartwarming to see our residents come together, sharing stories and enjoying the delicious treats. Happy Easter from Thornton Care Center!!! This week, we had a wonderful time celebrating with our residents during our Easter Egg hunt. Everyone enjoyed exploring the grounds to find eggs filled with delicious candy, and we even had one lucky resident discover the golden egg containing a $10 surprise! To top it all off, we had a playful bunny hopping around, adding even more joy to the festivities. It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, sweetness, and wonderful memories. Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🍀 We had an amazing celebration filled with delicious food and refreshing green Hawaiian Punch that everyone enjoyed. It was such a fun time for all involved!

A special thank you to Gretchen, Becky, and Jay for stepping up and helping out while I was out sick. Your teamwork and support truly made a difference, allowing us to provide the residents with a wonderful experience.
