We dedicated the Phillip R. Penaflor West Wing on Saturday! I really appreciated Phil’s family coming out for a beer and to remember him. Phil always was willing to help me with every little problem that came up over the years. He suggested a couple of years ago that we add in to the building, and even drew up preliminary plans for the project. When I said that it probably wasn’t possible, he had an architect friend come out to talk me. Now, I’m writing this from our upgraded office space. Our staff can work more comfortably, and we can offer better services to our patients. Cheers to Phil for his vision and for being my friend! I really miss you buddy.
