Well… it looks like we have a surprise guest who walked right into our facility and stole a few hearts along the way 💕🐶

This sweet pup wandered into our building today and appears to be lost. We want to make sure they get safely reunited with their family as soon as possible!

🎄✨ Skylake Post Acute Employee Christmas Party ✨🎄

This past Friday, our Skylake Post Acute team came together at Main Event to celebrate the holiday season—and what a night it was! 🎉 From great food and lots of fun to laughter, games, and gifts, it was truly a well-deserved celebration for an incredible team.

We are so thankful for each and every member of the Skylake family. Your dedication, compassion, and teamwork make our facility what it is, and we are beyond grateful to work alongside such an amazing group of people. 💙

🧡🥧 Skylake Post Acute Gives Back This Thanksgiving! 🥧🧡

This week, our Skylake Post Acute team had the joy of delivering delicious pies to our local fire departments, police department, and church as a small token of appreciation. Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, and we are thankful for the community partners who support our residents, families, and staff every single day.

We also proudly handed out 200 pies to every member of our Skylake team—because we truly could not provide the exceptional care we do without every single person who makes Skylake what it is. Our staff is the heart of our facility, and we are thankful for their dedication, compassion, and teamwork.

It was an honor to give back and spread a little holiday cheer. From all of us at Skylake Post Acute, Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁

🎄 Skylake Post Acute Giving Tree 🎄

It’s that special time of year again! We will be putting up our Giving Tree on December 2nd, and we invite our wonderful families, friends, and community members to join us in spreading holiday cheer to our residents. 💚✨

How it works:
Each resident receives a gift tag and writes down 3 items they would love for Christmas. Anyone who wishes to donate can pick a tag from the tree, purchase the gift(s), place them in a gift bag, and return them with the tag attached.

Your kindness and generosity help make the season brighter for our residents—and it truly means the world. ❤️

🌟 Celebrating Another Successful Rehab Journey! 🌟

We’re filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrate another successful transition home! 🎉 It’s always a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do — helping our residents regain strength, independence, and confidence to return home safely. 💙

A huge thank you to our incredible nursing team, therapy department, case manager, and every single team member who played an essential role in making this success story possible. It truly takes a dedicated team working together to make these moments happen! 🙌

We’re so thankful to serve our residents and witness these amazing milestones every day. Here’s to many more successful rehab journeys ahead! 🏡💪❤️

🌟 Join Our Food Drive for the Local Food Bank! 🌟

It’s the season of giving, and we’re proud to give back to our community! ❤️
Now through November 24th, we’re collecting non-perishable food items to support our local food bank.

Each of our facility’s units is competing to see who can raise the most donations — let’s make this a fun and friendly competition for a great cause! 🥫✨

📍 Drop-off stations are located at every unit and at the front of the facility for your convenience.

Together, we can make a real difference for families in need this holiday season. Thank you for helping us spread kindness and care beyond our walls! 💕

🎃👻 Trick-or-Treat TONIGHT at 5:00 PM! 👻🎃

Our entire facility came together to make Halloween magical for our Thornton community—we raised over 2,500 lbs of candy for all our trick-or-treaters! 🍬🍫🍭

Unit candy champs:

🌲 Evergreen Unit: 1,177.4 lbs

🌳 Arbor Unit: 773.8 lbs

🌼 Garden Unit: 362.6 lbs

🍁 Aspen Unit: 213.4 lbs

That’s a grand total of 2,527.2 lbs of sweet fun! 🙌

Bring your kiddos, friends, and neighbors tonight at 5 PM for a safe, festive night of candy, costumes, and community spirit. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉

🎃🕺 THRILLER DAY at Skylake Post Acute! 💃🧛‍♀️

Halloween Spirit Week is in full swing, and today is all about Thriller vibes! 👻 Our amazing staff dressed up in their spooky best and showed off their dance moves, while our residents jammed out to the classic “Thriller” by Michael Jackson! 🎶🧟‍♂️

It is a day full of laughter, dancing, and community spirit — proving that Halloween fun is for everyone! 🧡🕸️

🎃🍭 Candy Donations Needed! 🍬👻

It’s almost time for our annual Trick-or-Treat Event here at Skylake Post Acute, and we’re calling on our amazing community to help make it extra sweet this year! 💚

Last year, we collected over 600lbs of candy, and this year our goal is to raise 1,000lbs! 🙌

You can drop off your candy donations to your favorite unit — and don’t forget, the unit that collects the most candy wins a prize 🏆 and bragging rights for the whole year!

Every bag of candy helps us bring smiles, fun, and Halloween magic to our residents, families, and the little trick-or-treaters who visit. 🎃💫

We’re excited to share some feathered news! Our Garden Unit is now home to a beautiful aviary, filled with vibrant, chirping birds that bring joy, color, and a sense of calm to our residents and staff alike. 🕊️💛

The soothing sounds and gentle movements of our new feathered friends have already brought smiles and sparked conversations throughout the halls. Research has shown that watching birds can help reduce stress and promote relaxation — and we're already seeing the positive impact!

This new addition is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a warm, enriching environment where residents feel connected, engaged, and at home. ❤️
