Scam calls are flooding the phone lines again. If someone calls saying you “qualify for new Medicare benefits,” or that they’re “with Medicare” — hang up. Medicare does not make sales calls.

These are lead companies fishing for your info to sell or switch your plan without consent.

As said in the comments - "This continues to get picked up in the media to scare people and at the same time as a likelihood of less that 2% of passing. We need to be focusing on real solutions on overhauling the entire Medicare system and get some actionables that can be pushed through." As always be cautious of unsolicited calls/emails. They probably don't have your best interests.
