Be careful putting up your tree this year. I've treated several patients with tree related corneal abrasions.
Corneal abrasions can also sometimes lead to recurrent corneal erosions. This condition is due to the corneal epithelium not healing correctly resulting in future symptoms like pain and blurry vision. To prevent eye injuries while decorating your house this season, wear eye protection!
This picture is of the same tree that we've had since we first moved to Ventura County almost 7 years ago! How time flies!
