Silverado Thousand Oaks Memory Care Community opened in March 2021 and will serve 82 people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-impairing conditions.

Silverado Thousand Oaks Memory Care Community has been designed to provide more than just assisted living. It is a specialized memory care community dedicated to enriching life for the memory impaired.

Our Baking Club whipped up delicious chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting — and they were a hit! Baking isn’t just fun; it also brings wonderful benefits for those living with dementia. The familiar smells, textures, and steps of baking can spark memories, engage the senses, and provide a joyful sense of accomplishment.

🌤️ Sunlight exposure 10-15mins a day can improve sleep patterns, enhance cognitive function, and support physical well-being.

Our residents had a wonderful evening at Night of the Jack in Calabasas! The Halloween-themed light displays were absolutely amazing, and everyone had such a fun time! 👻🎃

Our residents and families had an amazing time at this year’s Autumn Fest! From live music and a petting zoo to games and a magic show, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And of course, we couldn’t forget the carnival favourites — funnel cakes, nachos, pretzels, corn dogs, popcorn…the lot! 🍿🌭🎠

Our residents had a wonderful time participating in our local Alzheimer’s Walk this weekend! It was a beautiful day filled with purpose, community, and hope. A big thank you to Jessica, our amazing Community Ambassador, for organizing this special event. We’re proud to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s and to walk in honor of all those affected. 💪🕊️
