The Conejo Free Clinic is a leader in the non-profit safety net for low-income, uninsured adults and children in Ventura County and North Los Angeles County. The CFC’s volunteer team is the foundation of our patient care delivery system, consisting of physicians, nurses, dentists, dental specialists, attorneys, Private Practice Partners and support staff. All team members generously contribute their personal time and professional expertise. The quality of CFC care is highly respected because of this network that leverages optimal access to care for the best possible patient and client outcomes.

We love seeing our outreach kits in the community.

Families recently received dental hygiene kits alongside warm coats, shoes, and fresh food, thanks to a collaborative effort with community partners including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley , Food Share of Ventura County , and DCH Subaru of Thousand Oaks.

Essentials that help support healthy, confident kids.

Each year, Conejo Free Clinic distributes over 2,300 medical and dental outreach kits, reaching neighbors where they are and helping make care feel a little more accessible.

Grateful to attend the California Association of Free Clinics Annual Conference in Sacramento!

Thank you to Alvin Chan, Scott Carroll, Mary Baker, Ed Ge**er, Denise Boren and the entire CAFCC Board for organizing such an inspiring event.

The conference began with visits to the offices of several state senators and assemblymembers — including our own Jacqui Irwin and Senator Henry Stern — to advocate for increased state funding for free clinics, as well as tax credits and loan forgiveness for licensed volunteer providers who dedicate their time to this critical work.

So many kind and passionate people doing truly incredible work across the state to expand access to care. The sessions were packed with insight - from an eye-opening presentation on the current legal landscape to a powerful talk on building a successful diabetes program.

We wrapped up with inspiring tours of three UC Davis student-run free clinics, and I came away not only with valuable information but also a sense of connection to a community of like-minded, compassionate, and visionary leaders.

✨ Conejo Free Clinic was honored to attend the Grand Opening of our newest neighbor, M.A.N.D.O Youth Development Group! ✨

M.A.N.D.O is building brighter futures for youth through free tutoring, mentorship, and positive community programs that help young people avoid gangs and substance abuse. Their mission aligns closely with ours - ensuring access, opportunity, and hope for those who need it most.

CFC looks forward to partnering together to strengthen the safety net for families and youth in our community. 💙

In response to rising fear in our immigrant communities, Conejo Free Clinic is launching a focused Immigration Support Initiative.

We are hand-delivering 2,000 medical and dental outreach kits to farmworkers and families who are often too afraid to seek help. These kits include essential supplies and a message: You are not alone.

We are also expanding our services with telehealth and mental health support to make care even more accessible.
