Momentum’s Pediatrics Program received a heartwarming surprise this holiday season at our annual Teddy Bear Toss!

Thanks to our amazing partners at LMU Ice Hockey and the Torrance Fire Department, the day was filled with laughter, excitement, and meaningful connections. On December 9, LMU players and three Torrance firefighters delivered a mountain of teddy bears, sparking joy and helping the kids build social and cognitive skills—greeting guests, expressing gratitude, and choosing their favorite plush toy. The fire truck and photo ops added extra fun to an unforgettable day!

We’re so grateful for our community partners who help us continue creating moments of joy for the kids and families we support.

Creativity was in full bloom thanks to Allison Grant, who led a heartfelt card-making workshop at our Adult Day Program! 💌✨

Allison, a talented greeting card artist supported by Momentum, shared her skills and passion with peers and staff. Her thoughtful instruction and joyful spirit brought everyone together through art and expression.

🎉 What a way to ring in the New Year! 🎉

Our New Year’s Party at Momentum & Momentum Valley Village brought together an incredible community of individuals supported, staff, and friends for a fun-filled celebration. From photobooths, games, dancing to a live DJ to enjoying pizza, sweet treats, games, and a special noon countdown, the energy was electric and joyful. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special. We’re stepping into the new year with gratitude and momentum!

Holiday spirit, creativity, and community came together recently at Momentum’s Adult Day Program in Thousand Oaks!

RKS Design, led by Founder and President Ravi Sawhney, joined us for a special workshop creating industrial-inspired holiday ornaments. The wire used was generously donated by our neighbors at MWS Wire.

Ravi shared: “It was such a wonderful surprise to learn that Momentum would be moving into the building across from us. Our team was immediately excited to get to know you and find ways to collaborate. The holiday ornament workshop was the perfect place to begin. Designing the templates and helping your adults and artists create their own personalized ornaments was incredibly rewarding for everyone at RKS. Seeing the creativity and joy in the room made the experience truly special.

Collaborating with your team was an inspiring way to kick off the holiday season, and we are grateful for the warm welcome. We look forward to exploring more ways we can support and enrich the adults at Momentum in the future.”
