“Speak up. Communicate. Find your strength.” — Nola 💚

Tomorrow we celebrate Ari’s - the girl who taught us how to love louder and be fully ourselves.

Nola shares how Ari inspired her to speak up, communicate more openly, and strengthen her relationships. That kind of impact never disappears. It lives on in everyone she touched.

✨ Tomorrow we launch Ari’s virtual birthday fundraiser and the rest of March. Let’s show up for her and continue the light she brought into this world. Every donation helps someone access mental health support through Arielle’s Light.

Happy Birthday Eve, Ari. Your light keeps shining — and tomorrow we show up to turn that light into action. ✨

“Trauma makes you funnier.”

Jilly shares a truth that many people who have been through hard things understand — sometimes humor is how we survive.

But she also reminds us that even in the darkest moments, light still exists.

That’s the heart of Arielle’s Light.

Over the next several days, we’ll be sharing stories from the people who knew and loved Arielle as we count down to her birthday on March 13.

💚 On her birthday, we’ll also be launching a virtual fundraiser to help fund therapy sessions for young people who need support.

Every act of kindness keeps her light shining.

Meaningful conversations. Shared purpose. New connections.

We were honored to attend the OC Black Chamber of Commerce and connect with leaders creating real impact.

Thank you to Tiesha Hutchins and Dustin Higley (One Sports Academy) for your dedication to uplifting youth and strengthening our community.

Every connection brings more light, more hope, and greater access to mental health care for the young people we serve. 💚

Her joy was contagious.
Her love was effortless.
Her light still shines.

This Valentine’s Day,Choose joy.Choose love.Choose yourself.

And may Valentine’s Day remind you to let someone know you love them.Your task is simple: remind someone that you choose them. You never know how much that might mean. 💚

Run for your body. Run for your mind. Run for someone who needs hope.

Arielle’s Light is honored to partner with the Vortex Ultra Experience (“The VUE”) in Sedona on April 18, 2026.

With distances of 4M, 12M, 21M, 34M, and 50M, this race offers more than a challenge—it offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Participants can support Arielle’s Light by donating during registration or by securing a charity bib with a $500 fundraising minimum. Every dollar raised helps provide financial assistance for therapy sessions, connecting youth and young adults with the mental health support they need.

In just our first year, we funded 90+ therapy sessions—and with your help, we can reach even more.

Last Saturday, Arielle’s Light participated in a su***de survivor panel at a community symposium at Cal State Long Beach. Our founder, Michelle Carrillo, Ari’s mom, shared her voice alongside others dedicated to healing and hope.

The gathering, “Holding Space: Reducing Stigma and Expanding Mental Health Access for AA+NHPI Youth,” brought together youth, survivors, providers, and community members in a space rooted in openness and care.

Throughout the day, attendees intentionally wrote acts of kindness—small moments that showed how purposeful compassion can create ripple effects of connection.

We are grateful to stand alongside individuals and organizations committed to su***de prevention and to supporting AA+NHPI youth and families.

At Arielle’s Light, we believe healing begins with connection.

If you or someone you love is struggling, support is available.

This gathering brings together voices, research, and resources to support AA+NHPI youth mental health and reduce stigma. Healing starts when we talk—and when we listen.

Mental health doesn’t always show itself.
Someone can be joyful, passionate, and full of life—and still be hurting.

Here is Ari, showing her superpower—expressing her love through dance. ✨

And yet, she struggled.

Your superpower can be asking for help—or simply checking in.

If this resonates, reach out. We are here.
Spread the word. 🤍

Some moments come full circle. 🤍

In 2021, Arielle was photographed by the incredible Toki Lee. Recently, we returned to the same spots to honor Arielle’s life and spirit. It was emotional, beautiful, and deeply meaningful.

, thank you for your generosity and for honoring Arielle in such a powerful way. This was more than a photo shoot—it was love.

Arielle’s Light exists for anyone who is struggling or feeling unseen. You’re not alone. We’re here. 💚💚

If this speaks to you, consider following, sharing, or donating to help us keep the light shining. ✨
